Analysis of Democracy or Dictatorship in eJapan

Day 3,429, 19:44 Published in Japan Japan by Hivernal

Here is a brief analysis of the recent survey opened to the eJapanese population, since it seemed to be something that people, as well as myself, were interested in. The data I used was based on what people requested, as well as general information that can be relevant/interesting towards the context of the votes.

The original results can be foun😛 here

No results were altered, although votes were disqualified if they did not provide a profile link, or in one case, a profile was used twice. This is simply a clean presentation of those results a with a little more depth behind them. I went to each and every profile to gather and recheck the information, so this is accurate to the best of my knowledge. None of this is personal opinion, only the facts.

A very special thanks to Ouibster for doing the original survey.

Results:

This chart reflects the votes provided in the survey for either democracy, or dictatorship. The total number of votes after the invalid ones, and others who didn't actually provide a response were removed came out to 36. Out of the participants in the survey, the majority supported having a dictatorship in eJapan.

Reasons:

These charts reflect the reasons stated in the survey by each voter. While many voters had multiple reasons, I contained their votes into the reason that they seemed most apt about pushing, and fit the somewhat vague reasons into the closest section. The primary reasons why people voted for a dictatorship were because of the stability it brings, and how much stronger it has made eJapan. The primary reasons why people voted for democracy were because of the upkeep costs inherent with dictatorships, and the activity it would bring to the community.

Military:

These graphs measured the amount of voters that fell within a certain divison, or threshold of strength. The majority of D1 and D4 players supported a dictatorship, and also contained the majority of voters in general. When it came to strength, the majority of high strength voters wanted a dictatorship, while more sub-100k strength voters supported democracy. Overall, the majority of the voters clocked in with over 100k strength.

Political Party/Military Unit:

SOS_Brigade - Dai Nippon Party (DNP) - Constantine The Great (CtG) - Jinmin Sensen (JS) - Devizni penzioneri - The Last Samurai (TLS) - No More Years (NMY)

Japanese Self-Defense Force (JSDF) - Jiyuu Nippon Gun (JNG) - Last Samurai (LS) - Ministry of Defense Japan(MoD) - Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) - Shinsengumi (SSG)

These graphs show both the political party of the voter for each side, and the military unit of the voter for each side. Some parties such as Deviznie penzioneri and TLS had all of their votes for dictatorship, while other like JS had all of their votes for democracy. There was also the case of a clean tie in votes for the SOS Brigade. This translated into the military units as well with the majority of the votes for dictatorship coming from JSDF or a foreign military unit, and the majority of the votes for democracy coming from JNG.

Conclusion:

Based purely on the data presented in this survey, though limited in scope because only 36 citizens participated, certain conclusions can be reached. The majority of participants supported having a dictatorship in eJapan. The majority of the strongest and highest damage dealers in eJapan supported having a dictatorship. The votes within the parties and military units were as expected, with the "coalition" mostly voting for dictatorship, the "opposition" completely voting for democracy, and the others having a mix of the two.

I hope this proved to be somewhat interesting and insightful. You are free to draw your own conclusions from the data provided. If I made any blatantly obvious errors, please let me know. Once again a big thanks to Ouibster for running the survey in the first place.
