An Old eKiwi Perspective

First off a bit about myself.
I am a real life south african living in Kwa Zulu Natal on the east coast of south africa.
Just some of the lovely scenery around where I live
Also a long time eKiwi having been a part of this nation I love since she came on the map 6th October 2010.

Some History
We started off as a peacful neutral nation. Made up of mostly rl serbian players and a mix of other nationalities. And for those of you continually whining about the number of serb players here you should have come better prepared and not complain that you didn't. There was a whole month to bring in other nation players and you didn't so quit complaining. Those of us who have seen what they have done for this nation which is a 100 times more than most of you.
We enjoyed our neutrality and building up of relations with friendly nations for 7 months. Then we woke up one morning to an unprovoked attacking Natural Enemy on us by Argentina looking for resources our nation had. Chile also decided to jump in with a Natural Enemy on us.
So we prepared to defend ourselves buying weapons getting our fighters stocked up and ready to defend our little nation and getting hold of friends to come give us a hand. Then we did something totally unexpected something that we have done often since and did so again with the current Natural Enemy on Indonesia.
With a two pronged attack coming to us we heard a call from one of the nations with whom we had an mpp and for whom we'ed been fighting since our little nation started. Serbia had come down to their last region and sent out a call to her allies for help. So we looked at ourselves saw we had 4 regions and turned our back on the attacks and went to her aid. After an epic battle that was won by Serbia we turned back to our own nation in time to lose the 3rd of our 4 regions. After a call of our own for help we managed to defend the last region and turn the tide of war and return to a complete nation again.
This set a precedent for us ekiwis which has followed us through the 2 years that have followed. An allies needs are equal to our own. If they need aid and we can give it to them we will without hesitation even if it brings danger to our little nation.
This was shown last year when we natural enemy argentina more than once and got wiped so often it got to the point that it no longer bothered us and we just thought along the lines of "Here we go again" But it didn't stop us trying to help our allies in south america namely eChile, Peru and Paraguay through Argentina having to fight us head on as well as them.
So we come to today. After months of mostly peace and quiet except for a few skirmishes and tw's with Aus. Our people bored out of their mind with just fighting for allies and nothing interesting happening. We took a look around.
Now we had a slight problem as we were literally surrounded by friendly nations. Even being in "enemy" alliances we didn't burn our bridges with our former CoT friends.
So we looked west and saw Chile. After the way we had fought beside the eChileans attacking them was not an option for us or would ever be unless they provoked us into it by attacking us first.
So we looked east and saw Indonesia.
And Australia who had so recently become our allies in TWO/ACT.
We observed them at war and we saw our allie was having a hard time. So we waited first for them to ask us for our aid by joining in attacking and when there was no request coming and the border was closed between us and Indo, for the border to be reopened. Once it was open we made our move and sent the Natural Enemy to Indonesia.
Yes we are aware that it has likely burned some friendly bridges for us. But as I said above an allies needs are equal to our own. And you mess with our allies you mess with us.
The FYROM airstrike on us is not surprising. Some of you may hate them for it. But to me I see it as a nation coming to the aid of its allie. Nothing less than we do ourselves.
What the future brings who knows. Us kicking FYROM back where they came from and continuing with our aid to aus. Or occupation by FYROM or Indonesia only time will tell.
But one things for sure we will not be a nation who stands by while their allie needs aid and we can give it to them.

I don't know hardly any eKiwis that don't like Indonesia or Chile, hell we have good relations with most countries in the eWorld. This attack isn't about hate, it's just us being bored and wanting to play the game like it's meant to be played. I personally have always liked Macedonia (or FYROM whatever) and it doesn't anger me that they want to visit. We have a lovely country, it's well worth a visit🙂
Good luck to all the countries involved, we may fight and have fun but there are no enemies here for me. o7

yeah i agree too. we play game to have fun, so its not a wrong thing if we doing fun thing. but it better if all of us having that fun, not just some people or some group of people XD
becouse an adult people who playing game know what must he/she done when doing something in that game not only for him/herself, but for friend and his/her country. if you just searching fun for yourself and not knowing what happen after that, that means you are still not mature or have some problem with yourself XD lol
Oh you're talking about consequences. I would point out to you that while your allies have been being wiped your country as been busy securing resources in eAustralia. I wonder what the consequences of that will be😛
we already know and preparing what consequences we get before doing something, and when that happening we are ready XD.
actually i'm not just talking about consequences, mainly i just talking when we have fun, not all people can feel the same thing that we have. actually i dont like to take other people home too. i dont have anything fun from that. but if there's not strategic war in this game to get resource and else, then this game not erepublik anymore. XD
