An interview with our CP: BigAnt

A few questions with our CP: BigAnt. Yesterday evening I asked BigAnt - our current CP - a few questions. Below are what I asked him and what answers he gave me.

Question: You mentioned in your manifesto that you wanted to lower taxes but many members of congress disagree, do you stick
by your word?

Answer: Many Congress members also agree with my policy 😉

Yes I stand by what I said and will push on with it. Congress are currently discussing the possible changes in game.

But I must stress, when I ran for office I proposed this idea on behalf of the population. Its not my decision I can only argue the points for the reduction in tax, which currently out weight those who want an INCREASE believe it or not.

Question: What do you want to do this term that you 'failed' on or didn't do the last time you were in office?

Answer: Stick to my guns and policies - I let too many people talk me off what I wanted to change. The came back to hit me in the face when those "advising me" then turned their backs on me. Its all water under the bridge now, but it wont happen again. I will stay true to every single policy I have this month or at least give it my best shot.

Question: Are you confident that the Belgium TW will run smoothly?

Answer: Yes of course, we can trust Belgium and no offence to them but we shouldn't see any change in our plans during the TW.

Question: Why did you join the game and what interested you so much about it?

Answer: I came across erepublik from a football manager game I play, it was on an Ad banner and at the time I was going through one of them moods. I needed a new game to play, So I tried a few before finding erepublik.

Question: Was there anyone who inspired you to get into politics or inspired you in any way at all?

Answer: Jamesw inspired me - he goes in and out of the game with his activity. But he is true British and will do anything to help the country. It was a pleasure to support him during his 6/7th term as CP this year. Great guy!

Question: What do you love most about the game?

Answer: Friendships (real ones 😉) - the community and our allies overseas. Some guys who play this game really are true gents/ladies they make the game! So I would urge all players reading this get on the IRC and come chat 😃

Well, that was the interview with our CP! I would have liked to ask him more however I know he's a busy guy. (Plus I didn't know what else to ask...)
