An IES Senator did what???

Day 925, 21:32 Published in USA USA by JDR1986

As you all know from my last article I am the Chief of Staff of the IES. I tell other senators who to approve and who to look into as far as citizenship goes. Yesterday I was verifying military members with a CO in the army IRC. After verifying a member I copied there name and asked one of my Tier one senators to approve it. Unfortunately due to a weird system in my IRC any text I highlight becomes attached to my clipboard. In a rush to get orders out I pasted the wrong name into mail and sent it off without proof reading it.

No amount of Facepalms is adequate for this level of fail.

My mistake allowed a dangerous individual to gain citizenship to the country. After explaining my mistake and the reasoning behind it to my superiors they have decided to let me keep my position in the IES. I have taken full responsibility for the mix up as the senator I asked to do this was merely following orders.

This amount of fail is epic.

I have learned my lesson and have had to take responsibility for my mistakes. This one slip up in no way shows my value as a tier one senator nor the overall success of my election. I apologize to the American people. I apologize to the IES and I apologize to congress. This was a very unfortunate mix up and I will do everything in my power to fix my mistake.
