An Examination of our Current Problems
Modelcon
This will be a two part article:
1) I feel that it's time to give myself a formal introduction to eJapanese. For those of you who don't know me, I used to be the Vice President of China, before it was overrun by Iranians. Following the invasion, I moved over to Japan (which many Chinese did) to settle here temporarily until we can liberate our lands again. Over time, I have grown fond of Japan, with its many personalities and distinct culture. Please bear in mind though, I have every intention to return to China after it's liberated, but I would dearly like to continue a Sino-Japanese relationship strong. Perhaps politics divide us in real life, but it should not separate us in a game of friendship. I extend the hand of Chinese friendship to the nation of Japan, to the people of Japan and to the businesses of Japan. When China is once again firmly established, Japanese will be welcomed with open arms.
Most of you see me as a commenter not always nice to others. Personality-wise, I seek to open discussion and bring new points up, not to spread the love. I hope people can also do the same, not saying merely: “voted, subscribed” or “voted, great article!” Activity is the key to success, and I challenge everyone to discuss and comment something worthwhile.
2) And now the juicier part of my article. Having the experience of living for an extended period in two countries, China and Japan, I have the opportunity to comment on wages and living conditions. The thing I’m most amazed at in Japan are your extremely high gold prices. Currently, with your gold price hovering around 170 JPY, I, a level 4 land worker, get about 0.14 gold pieces a day. That’s pretty low. In Brazil, I would make about 0.54 gold pieces a day. In fact, it’s so hard to earn a piece of gold here; I’m surprised how anyone can make gold besides earning a company. I don’t know how to deal with that, but in order to attract citizens from other countries, we need to make an acceptable offer to them.
I constantly hear the price with which people mention how cheap their Q1 and Q2 food are. Yes, I agree that food here is indeed very cheap. However, Q1 and Q2 (and sometimes Q3) food are about the only things cheap. Our Q1 gifts are about expensive as our Q2 food, which means 2 wellness is about the same price as one. Our moving tickets and weapons industries are not in much better shape.
Anyways, I digress. To put forward my wishes again, I challenge everyone to post at least 2 comments, one talking about China and one about the economy. As usual, your faithful correspondent would love to have subscribers, so please subscribe and vote up (but don’t say it.)
May the glorious motherland triumph!

The gold prices used to be lower, until MAFIA flooded our market with government money, making the JPY less valuable. It will take time to fix it, because every time someone posts gold at a reasonable price, it gets bought out very quickly. That's supply and demand for ya. We should somehow make everyone stop buying gold in Japan, so the gold market gets oversaturated, which will bring the prices down. Unfortunately we can't force people to stop buying gold.
That is very corrupt. I hate how so many people/parties stole money and now have the power to distort markets.
It is really a problem that you will have to grow out of. The good news is that EVENTUALLY the person will spend all their money and the JPY will be worth a lot.
About Gifts: That's how it always is. The cost of production is simply not equal. Gifts are made for people willing to toss out that extra cash, not just for daily use like Houses and Food. I think you'll find it's the same in most countries.
Inferno-
Yes, I often find that with gifts. The entire thing is flawed. Still, people realize that the 10 yen can buy either 1 Q1 gift that they can send to others, or 1 Q2 food, which they'll consume themselves. The gift industry needs more incentive to sell cheaper, or offer better incentives to make people by.
Gift industry can't lower the price due to the raw material cost. They are not cheap, and since Japan lacks diamond in any of our territory, people who export here sells quite expensively.
Okay, can we get off the discussion about gifts? There are a lot of other things we can talk about. For example, Sino-Japanese friendship?
I think Gifts are okay as is. Cost about double the price of Food at each Quality.
Of course, I think most of us are glad you're here, Modelcon. Unfortunate that I don't know any other Chinese citizens, here. Well, if the resistance war starts up anytime soon, I'd like to participate myself. Have someone contact me ASAP when the time comes, if possible.
I look forward to future relations between our nations. Our economies would mutually benefit quite a lot through commerce.
