An Endorsement

I'm not sure how, but my time since I was last a Party President of the Canadian Progressive Front as been far from I envisioned.

Leaving aside the fact that I ought to be only 11 days away from having returned from an eVacation that I wanted to take, I was forced instead to fluctuate between activity and inactivity as I witnessed ElPatoDiablo embarrass the party and eCanada. I saw and continue to see extremely unproductive Congresses, not the least of which the month where the CPF had 16 Congress members, CW's support and did nothing with it. In the past 6 months there have been only two different Party Presidents, one of whom is no longer even with us.

I see that the CPF's relationships with the other parties remain unproductive for the party. While they either spy on us, block us or recruit from us, we fail to even register a response most of the time as they take advantage.

What I've come to realize is that it can be nice to build something, and then let the fruits of your creation be enjoyed and handled by others. Most of the time. Other times what happens is that they sit on it, stalling the momentum you created and forcing you to come back and start doing constant maintenance while others run around with their hair on fire. It is extremely frustrating and that has shown perhaps in my conduct as I have become extremely forthright in what I think of you and your little group of friends.

But this realization, that you cannot simply ensure an outcome, but that you have to maximise its potential benefits for it to mean something has led me to what I think is the proper course of action with my now simple standing in eCanada.

What is required is a new leader for the CPF. Someone with new ideas and a resolve to build up party activity around those ideas. At the moment I can only think of one player who but needed a simple push. He has shown leadership and aggressiveness. Good strategy and patience. He, I believe is what the CPF needs to end this miserable run of mediocrity and break down the walls into taking our rightful place on top of the hill.

Party policies need to changed and enforced. Party ideals need to be disseminated. Communication needs to become more frequent and encompassing with useful content. Goals need to be advanced, especially if they create friction.

Without further delay...

I hereby endorse myself for CPF PP.
