Join the new world

This morning I woke up, again.

It's true - eRepublik isn't what it once was. There was a time when thousands of active players would vote in eUS Presidential elections, when titans of industry and giants of media powered the great factories of a booming economy.

But it's not all gone. After speaking with some currently active players, including our ePresident, I know that within this shell of a game still lies a beating heart, dedicated players and an active community. Those core active players are committed to rebuilding a thriving community and over time recapturing the greatness of this game.

I'm reminded of the rebirth of Rome under Justinian - a time when so much of the Mediterranean was returned to Roman rule.

This is our rebirth, our moment of return.

Still, an ember glows. Let us light the flame.
