An election: A lack of Unity
Aren Perry
Ten hours from now our new presidential elections will begin. Both of the candidates are experienced players and both are deserving of the position. In the past week, especially after the tax raises, the lack of unity within the American spirit has shown through.
So many articles I have read that have downplayed the work of this government for the people as being thoughtless, selfish, and full of people who have no respect for the lives of the eCitizens.
It is not in the difference of opinion that I am tired of, but in the lack of respect or realization that those government officials including myself are trying their best to make hard decisions on many different things. Confusion even within the ranks of the congressman has crept in by innocent well intentioned people.
Respectful discussion, not personal slanders, accomplish understanding.
listen, differences in how things should be run abound and times right now aren't the best, but that does not entitle us as a nation to slander those in power as if we don't have the best intentions of the nation. Please, don't argue with me on this thread, I'm not trying to tell you your positions are wrong if you believe differently than me.
I hope that, with the election of a new president (or our current one) , we do not make his job any tougher by complaining but show him respect and unite behind him so that together we can accomplish something instead of going through endless debates and not working together to get something done in the eWorld.
Can we all atleast say we are eAmericans and stand together and for each other?
I can say it.
God bless eAmerica!

well said Aren, I agree.
Voted and subbed. That was actually a very good article and I've been meaning to write something along the lines of what you just said. It's basic human nature to forget the positives and concentrate on the negatives though.

Two thoughts...
You have to have thick skin to be an e-leader.
If you can't stand the heat, get out of the e-kitchen.
Excellent article Aren. Voted and subscribed.
