An attack on our symbols

Day 2,103, 12:19 Published in Spain Israel by TheRepoMan

Today, my first thought was to write an article in Spanish focusing on a topic that fills our national press these days, but I soon changed my mind when I logged in and found this:

http://www.erepublik.com/es/article/-iquest-inflamable-significaba-flamable--2309371/1/20

The whole article is an insult to the eRepublik community and shall not be ignored any longer. For that reason, this article is made only in English, without any bias for any particular nationality. Many of our national symbols have been insulted by Vihesito (http://www.erepublik.com/es/citizen/profile/4522503), who posted images of a wide range of flags being burning with the only propose of insulting people.

As a result I call on the eRepublik community worldwide for help to encourage respect for others. I know trolls will strive to convince us that what they do is insignificant, trivial, but we all know (or should know) that it really isn’t. To them it’s simply funny, but the reality is that it is teasing, and unnecessary. Not everything must be tolerated as a 'joke'. Today pictures were shown of our flags burning, so what will they do tomorrow? People should always keep in mind that sinister acts grow from relatively small things such as this.

Personally I cannot let this go unnoticed. I don't see any reason to tolerate acts like these, so if you consider yourself part of a decent community then act against this kind of action that clearly violates laws, and thus the terms an conditions of use of eRepublik (part 5 paragraph 1 line 14). Regardless of being largely pointless - this is offensive. Please help in the spread of this message.

Let me encourage you to re shout this article showing that users like Vihesito are obviously unable to respect national symbols, and/or contribute positively to society.
