This week’s interview (much to Goalie’s chagrin, I suspect) is with one of the longest-serving officers of the Mobile Infantry, Lieutenant n4n0, PCO of Charlie-6. As with previous interview issues, one question will be fake, and the first person to PM me with the correct guess wins the highest quality weapon I can find in the marketplace.

Summarize your MI service for us.
I joined the MI back in June 2009 as a private in Alpha 3 under tsewell. I stayed there for a long while and was eventually promoted to XO of Bravo 7. I stayed there until I was promoted to the CO (of Bravo 7). As a PCO, I was transferred to Charlie 3, then Charlie 6 where I'm CO today.

When did you start playing eRepublik?
May 2009 – I found erep from an ad on a gaming website called Kongregate.

How did you get involved with the eUS military?
I got involved with the military via a link in the greeting you get as a new citizen if memory serves correctly. This was before citizen ads. I joined the Training Division from there.

Why’d you join the MI?
Well back in '09, the MI had just formed from the remnants of the National Guard. So there were a lot of people joining because it was a new branch. Who wouldn't be excited about that?

What was your first major military experience?
The battle for FER during the failed invasion of russia we attempted under Scrabman's administration.

What was your favorite V1 moment and why?
Probably the battle of Ontario in WW3. The greatest battle of erep imo because it was so epic – the last stand of Canada. At its time, it was the largest battle influence wise. It went like 5 hours into overtime. Something like that won’t happen again.


How about v2?
My favorite v2 moment was when they rolled it back. v2 was unprintable if you ask me.

Okay, who was your favorite officer to work with or under, any branch?
Tough one. I’d say GoalieBCSC but he’d laugh and then kickban me. Probably Greenday4537. Dim was a bit of a hard-ass as CCO, but Greenday and I get along pretty well.

Who’s your favorite eRepublik adversary, if you have one?
wakyz. that damn nazi. and in RL kevin bacon. he just doesn’t know when to stop... n4n0 pulls out a knife
