American Front [DAY 1,403]

Day 1,403, 18:06 Published in USA USA by Cleveland Fleman

Spain has been putting up a bit of a fight with their ONE allies backing them. However, "times are always chainging."

In this week, the United States has suffered severe loss to Spanish and Resistance Forces. The turning of the tide began during the battle of Extremadura. That battle was lost, with Spain winning by two victories. After that, three territories held by the United States were lost to invaders or resistance efforts.

The United States' fighting forces can easily overwhelm Spanish fighters on the battlefield. So, the only explanation that I can think of for the recent defeats is that ONE had decided to put more damage in for Spain. This is not bad news at all. With ONE spreading it's efforts in different locations around the European arena, this will give our allies significant advantages over their oppressors.

As you can see the U.S. has lost Cantabria, Basque Country, and Castilla y Leon. These losses disconnected Castilla La Mancha, La Rioja, and Navarra from the United States. The current battles are in regions that must be won by the United States to keep a steady footing in Spain.

Navarra was attacked by Spain in their effort to expel us from their country. Unfortunately for Spain, we are one victory away from winning that campaign and destroying their efforts to regain Navarra.

Galicia is the last region that has a sea connection with the United States. Spanish Resistance is putting up a formidable fight. However, the United States is only two victories away from winning the Galicia campaign as well.

If I could make the decision on what region the United States would conquer next it would be Castilla y Leon. If the United States successfully defends Galicia, then the capital of Spain must be cut off from its country once more. Having Castilla y Leon would disconnect the Spanish capital and give the United States a land and sea connection to currently controlled territories. After Castilla y Leon has been captured, I would make a move on Cantabria. Cantabria would give a secondary sea port to the United States. From there I would branch out to acquire resources, like Andalucia, and to further strength the gap between the capital of Spain and Spain itself.
