American Front [DAY 1,396]

Day 1,396, 18:00 Published in USA USA by Cleveland Fleman

Victory after a loss.

Yesterday, the United States lost Castilla y Leon to a Spanish Resistance Force. However, US forces bullishly beat Span into submission, reacquiring the lost territory. A funny assumption can be made that the United States allowed Spain to recapture Castilla y Leon. The US then took it back from Spain, giving the United States the right to rub it in Spain's face saying, "We Own You."

This is great news. The capital of Spain, Asturias, will continue to be disconnected from vital resources and in effect limit the bonuses Spanish companies would have received.

At the moment, Spain is feeling the heat. A resistance force is attempting to liberate Cantabria. Cantabria is region that rewards bonuses to food companies. This region is not as important as Castilla y Leon is to Spain. Winning Cantabria (which will probably not happen, Go USA) will only connect one region to Asturias. If a resistance force successfully captured Castilla y Leon again it would connect Spain to all its available resources, allowing companies to use the resource bonuses at reset. What ever plan they have (if there is a resistance force plan), we can only hope that it continues to fail miserably. The United States has 4 victories over Spain's one.

With the battle continuing in Cantabria another battle is ensuing. La Rioja is becoming a Spanish graveyard as the US leads by one victory. The battle could be another easy victory for US and Allied forces as the US puts continued pressure on Spain.

The United States is flexing its guns. Lets show them off to our Allies and give them our support.
