how did everyone do on the Amazing Journey ? I was after the gold but couldn't collect enough "distance traveled" to claim them

I managed to unlock 57 regions by ignoring the ones that took 8 hours that I didn't really want and weren't in my way. I only spent enough energy to get 40 of them but I got so caught up trying to figure out what last regions to unlock that I forgot to move one last time. Without the miles, I can only claim about 25.
I was originally planning to do the math yesterday before the end of the event but put it off because of that extension into today. It really would have been even better if they'd given us more advance warning so we could plan, as it took me a few days to get a (ultimately fruitless) plan together.
Oh, well. Gold was also my main goal, along with the permanent energy centre. Everything else is a bonus.
Collected 65 out of 76. Got everything that I wanted. From order of importance: permanent energy centre > energy bars > gold > treats > +12 recovery. Small bombs, missiles, stringers, temporary houses, and the like, were useless to me. Basically anything that were temporary were useless to me. Treats were the exception because it could get me bonus PPs for the event.
I left the 8 hour unlocks for the queue on the last day. Got everything I wanted out of the event.
Got the permanent energy and the gold, then went for annihilators. Norman as for the distance traveled a few trips between Northwest Territories and Singapore city made more than enough for me for the entire event as it's 12000+km one way.
reading these comments , i am sure i did not make the most of this event , all i got was 40 gold and temp crap , didnt even notice permanent energy centres lol now i really would like something like this to be back
I mostly went for gold so i could finally get some powerful upgrades. this event enabled a great deal of advancement. It was fantastic outcome, especially with a sale coming in directly after. I guess they're working on customer retention again? lol.

Just kidding. no finance adviser. but if i had one in his condition I'd be very afraid. I'd be looking for nearest wall street window to jump from.
if i was you and have any doubts , do up Rep change or Dealer rep change altogether , to do that , you visit your new trusted rep , fill a form with them signed it fax it to old company , done
