By this means, we send our congratulations to ALL the congressmen elected in the last elections for the people of Cuba. We hope that beyond partisan lines, they can elaborate proposals of action for the well-being of the country. Cuba deserves the best!

As part of our actions, once again we present several proposals of the NEW CUBAN ALTERNATIVE. It is our commitment to be transparent, clear and specific. This will be our way at all times, Open House policy 24/7. Public discussions and integration of all sectors of Cuban society, to contribute to the development of the country through a structured plan. YOUR OPINION COUNTS.



DEFINITELY the backbone of our movement: DEMOCRACY, INCLUSION, CITIZEN PARTICIPATION. In no way do we pretend to tell anyone how to do things, that is clear. Our agenda goes beyond mere electoral aspirations. We want to support the foundations that have proven useful to the country and to improve the aspects deemed necessary, and BUILD with you. YOU CAN BE PART!

PROPOSALS

Just a few days after the CP elections, do you know the candidates? Do you know their government proposals?



We promote that, for the future, every aspirant to CP, regardless of the match of provenance, is made known at least three (3) days in advance to the town. That each one be accompanied with specific proposals, with its plan for the country. Obviously without putting at risk the issues related to possible warlike actions. Why? And for what?



The people deserve to know to whom it is exposed, and the candidate must know, that will be object of scrutiny in each action that does not fulfill the established thing. Without this, we would be giving a blank check. It is the way of demanding the new ruler, his attachment to the state program. The COP decisions affect or benefit the entire people, not just their voters. I invite you, and I'm sure Cuban brother, YOU CAN BE PART!

SEPARATION OF LEGISLATIVE AND EXECUTIVE POWERS

It happens in our society, for many traditional reasons, justified or not, that our Congressmen repeatedly occupy, simultaneously, positions as Ministers in property. Lack of active, trained, interested, related citizens?

However, where there is the independence of the maximum organisms, when practically they are subject of each other, and the longed guarantee of control does not exist. The Congress is to legislate, and the executive to govern according to the constitutional order, and the laws of the Pluricultural eRepublic of Cuba. None can be the other's rubber stamp.
We must promote more citizen participation in the different positions. That the repetition of charges, is not based on the fact that there are no others. The homeland must develop its leaders facing tomorrow, and I am convinced that in these discussions, YOU CAN BE A PART!



NATIONAL DEFENSE

One of the most important aspects in the daily life of the World! Our nation, for historical reasons of its time, made the decision to eliminate the state UM. Giving way to private UM. It was a decision according to its time. However, I will take the Havana Club as a reference, which practically functions as the official UM (i don’t belittle the work of others), let's think for a moment.

That forces that UM to render service to the Fatherland? Out of a moral duty, outside of the proven commitment of their leaders and soldiers with national commitment. Nothing compels them. Likewise, it limits the aid or investments that could receive a state UM. Ask yourself for a moment, and if the CCP (example), won the candidacy to CP? Is the EPC the unit called to defend the nation? Given this, should we create the Cuban Army again? Or maybe nationalize one of the existing ones? That responds to the government in turn with a Constitutional obligation? The debate is open, I am convinced that, YOU CAN BE PART!
