Allow Me To Introduce Myself

Day 744, 12:52 Published in South Africa USA by NeilP99

My name is NeilP99. About ten months ago I came to eSouth Africa as part of a series of articles I was doing for my readers that had me travel the world and tell them about the countries I visited. I was incredibly impressed with eSouth Africa at the time. The kinship and generally kind demeanor of the people of this country was a refreshing change from the intensity and hostility that was present in the eUS at the time. I returned home to the eUS, but I never forgot the experience I had in eSouth Africa. That’s why, ten months later, I’ve decided to move to this beautiful country and apply for citizenship.

A Little About My Past
Back in the eUS I had many experiences. I was elected to the American Congress four times, I served in the eUS Marine Corp, the highest branch of the eUS Military, I briefly ran for President of the eUS before bowing out to a better candidate, and I still own several companies based in the US. I tell you these things not to impress you, not to act as if I know what is best for South Africa, but to show you that I’m a dedicated player of this game. Everything I did in my old country I did because I thought it would serve the interests of my old country. I hope to bring that same attitude and that same dedication to South Africa. I still have a lot to learn about the situation of South Africa, but I plan to work hard at this, and work hard to do what I can for the sake of my new home.

This Is Not A Political Take Over
I know that because of the small size of South Africa there is a constant threat of PTOs. I realize that that means that it is only natural that the South African people be wary of outsiders. I also realize that some of the people from the eUS who preceded me have not left the best of impressions with the South African people. Sadly there is little I can do to erase their mistakes. I can, however, assure you that I am not coming here as part of a PTO. I have never endorsed PTOs, I have never been a part of a PTO, and generally speaking I find PTOs to be detrimental to the game. I come to South Africa with the full intention of acting like a South African and working for South Africa, not for my own personal gain, and not for the gain of another nation. As further proof of my friendly intentions I make you this promise. If one month from now the people of South Africa want me to leave because they believe I don’t have the best interest of their country at heart, then I will do so. A majority of people simply have to ask me to leave South Africa and I’ll be on my way, no questions asked.

I can make this promise because I don’t believe that will happen. As far as I’m concerned, as soon as my citizenship request is approved I am South African. I will play with that mindset. So I hope that I get to know you all much better, I hope that together we can all do our part, whatever that part is, to improve South Africa, and I hope that you will accept me into this country. I have heard and experienced wonderful things about South Africa, and it seems like the kind of country I will enjoy. Thanks for reading, and long live South Africa.

UPDATE: I am proud to say that I have been granted South African citizenship. I look forward to serving this country as it is now officially my own.
