ALLIANCE SPOTLIGHT: What is Entente?

ENTENTE ALLIANCE
Erepublik is known for it many and changing alliances. My purpose today is to introduce eIreland to the Entente Alliance.
Unlike the world-power alliance of EDEN and Phoenix (and previously Atlantis and PeaceGC) the Entente Alliance is a defensive alliance who's goals are stated as "Aspiring peace and prosperity for the Member Nations... a defensive military alliance."
One of the founding nations, Italy, was a member of PEACE Global Community Alliance until November 11th and founded The Entente. which in French means 'Understanding', on December 15th.
Co-Founders of the Alliance are France and the Ukraine. It was founded during the invasion of France, by Spain.
In tradition with a defensive alliance Entente members are allowed to participate in other Military campaigns and even other alliances is some cases. Membership comes with the commitment to defend at all times any alliance member.Core, or Dedicated member nations may be elected General Secretary while associated Members cannot. Associated members on the other hand may be involved in seperate alliances as long as they maintain MPP's with all Member nations.
The Alliance Council is setup in a One Man, One Vote system, with Veto power resting in the hands of Core Members nations (Very Similar to the RL United Nations Security council)
Entente wishes to extend it's defensive alliance throughout Europe and bring Peace and Stabiliy to many lands.

Some more details:
-It's sole purpose was to defend France from the Spanish invasion.
-It's still alive thanks to Phoenix support via MPP's (useful puppets of Phoenix)
-Spain is at war with all 4 of them. Currently attacking France and Italy. Luckily for Austria and Ukraine, they don't share a border with us. Yet.
-France is in the process of ceasing to be a member of the Entente, due to imminent defunction. Italy is finally blocked into oblivion, them lacking the ***** to attack Baleares, while paying money monthly to Russia and Indonesia for their protection.
-Also known as the Lambda Lambda Lambda brotherhood of nerds.

oh lol. I thought you were advocating it. It would be like RL Ireland deciding not to join NATO and joining an alliance with Tunisia and Madagascar. How much more irrelevant could we possibly make ourselves?

absolutley not. Ukraine has MPP with Poland and Romania, and we are closer to EDEN.

Great article! As we know receiving an information is the first step of any action. And of course is necessary for making an opinion. I suggest not ALL of eIrish new about Entente, well now more of them do 🙂 After all that's a little bit foolish to do not know about an alliance that lives right next to you.
