Alexander Rearden-Canada’s Next Great Prime Minister
Bruck
Alexander Rearden - Canada’s Next Great Prime Minister
Alexander Rearden, the strong and experienced man that Canada knows wants to be your Prime Minister. As someone who knows exactly what it takes to lead eCanada I can safely say that there is no better choice today. Alexander Rearden knows what it takes to be an effective Cabinet Minster, he’s been doing it since before most eCanadians were eCanadians! As a new citizen think of what you learned in a month, then another, then another. It’s a big leap sometimes isn’t it? Well if your doing the same or a similar job for seven months just think of how well you would know that job and how easy it would be for you to take on another with similar high stress expectations. Personally Alexander Rearden has been working with me for the past three months keeping a close eye on the economy of eCanada, directing it silently with his guiding hand. Without his work the economy would not be in such a strong condition as it is today. With his extensive experience no other eCanadian stacks up when it comes to knowing what is expected of a President/Prime Minister, I know he will make a smooth transition and all he will need is your support.
I have read that some uninformed Citizens consider Alexander Rearden to be restricting of change, hardly! He proposes to reexamine the constitution with Congress and make the changes we need in a New post Beta era World. This overhaul is long overdue, I wish I had thought of such an ambitious endeavor myself! Clearly Mr. Rearden was saving his best ideas for later. With the changes he is proposing Congress will run smoother, laws will be made clear, and each department will have clear set guidelines. We will be able to punish those that steal from the state and acknowledge those that aid it’s progress. Truly the change we need.
Mr. Reardens main opposition, Jacobi, says he’s all about accountability but when has he ever shown this? Not once has he come out and been accountable for his actions or apologized for comments made. Now one may say that this is because he has never made a mistake, as laughable as that may be. If this is so then Jacobi is far too inexperienced to lead a nation such as Canada. If you have never known defeat or made a mistake then you are not learning from that mistake. Do you think Alexander Rearden will permit himself to make another mistake when he is Prime Minister? He has learned and is already planning ways of preventing similar mistakes in the future, has Jacobi learned this most valuable lesson?
Alexander Rearden is the man with more experience than most eCanadians combined, he is proposing extremely ambitious changes to the constitution where he will involve everyone’s voice in doing so, and knows the sometimes harsh lessons of what a mistake can cost. He is now fully prepared to take on the sometimes stressful, often trying, and always rewarding job of leading this great nation as Prime Minister. Alexander Rearden, you have my vote of Confidence. I hope he can count on yours.

But who are you endorsing...😉
Alexander Rearden!
But you knew that 🙂
Bruck, your rethorics are bad, I'm sorry to say. Jacobi is talking about cabinet accountability, and it is needed. The same as 1ronman was forced to resign after the CND money scandal, Alex Rearden should also at least get reprimanded (by you, by the way 😛) for the kommie loan, even if it wasn't his fault. He approved it, he took the risk, he did not ask for congressional approval (just as 1ronman appointed Gofar without informing you), so yes, Cabinet (and Congressional) accountability is needed, and I must say, that thus far, Jacobi doesn't need to apologise for anything he's done in congress.
Jeez, why don't you people aim a little higher when supporting someone.
Translation of Article:
Blah blah blah I am an old mofo and I did a crap job as government. VOTE AR because Jacobi is two months younger then me! Now stfu and read this useless article!
Nice attempt Bruck.
I'm not aware of these "rethorics" you speak of, Adasko. However, whatever Bruck says is ok by me.
wow, there's good criticism and then theres slander... I think AR has apologised enough; it worried me, but alas, he's got a month to make up for what he did wrong. The fact that he didn't cower away shows he's got passion for this country.
Yeah next great Prime Minister... of eAustralia *RIMSHOT* No but seriously Vote Jacobi.

He's had 6 months as MoF to make up for his mistakes as MoF. Has he? NO
Exactly.
How can you actually talk about accountability of other candidates when your endorsed candidate's accountability looks like this:

Yes he has apologised and mistakes can happen to the best of us, but thats not even the core problem here.
Over his entire term as MoF he has run this economy steadfastly, right before the election something goes wrong, something beyond his control. Hardly a fair judge.
That would be like saying you did something good Dean, even after all this time it still wouldn't make up for all the wrong.
Im not even judging him on anything that was beyond his control. I respect that he publicly apologised and admitted something went wrong.
What bothers me is that he chose to open this poll, offering his resignation should people demand so. A totally overdramatized move, which might be best described as a PR stunt to gain some sympathy before the presidential elections?
However, as soon as it backfired he decided to delete this poll, because as he said "it was making him look weak". And yes, this whole thing indeed makes him look weak and undermines his credibility. How is he going to handle pressure and criticism as a president in a real crisis?
From a possible future president I expect principles, honesty, and enough backbone to stand to his words. If he didnt mean it, he shouldnt have offered his resignation. And these are all things which were entirely under his control.
PS: I figured out by now that nobody likes Dean, however in this case he just brought the facts to the table (granted, the headline was over the top), which were confirmed by AR's response. So how he got his information or whatever he has done to be shunned is of no importance in my opinion.
I'm on the fence to new to make a decision just gonna read forums and see what happens give it the month of watching.
Rayin,
Were you in the IRC when this poll was made? AR was being viciously attacked personally and professionally by multiple people with little or no proof. To say it was overdramatized is a severe overstatement.
I would trust AR's leadership, and opinion on most anything. He is active, caring, and not afraid to do something against the beliefs of others to better our nation. He has the experience and the skin to lead the nation and I wish him the best of luck in the election.
BOOOOO!!!!!!!! Vote for change!!!! Vote for.... that other guy that's running. YEAH!!!!!!!!
Looks like AR is going to need some "CPR" to be revived in his campaign lololol.
As far as I understood from AR's apology article he opened that poll himself? ->
"I have opened a poll on the eCanadian Forum on my next move. If it is the will of the people I will resign as Minister of Finance"
http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/i-am-sorry-ecanada-818907/1/20" target="_blank">http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/i-am[..]1/20
Respectively, what else was this but a PR stunt? It becomes overdramatised because it was not necessary to offer his resignation nor open a poll, especially since he never had the true intention to resign, if thats what we talking here?
I disapprove on personal attacks. If he said he closed the poll because people were abusive I would fully support this move! But unfortunatly he did not.
Rayin
The poll was 1/3 (resign/don't) when I deleted it. Since the thread was deleted the results of it can't be verified but in this case its my word, a respected servant of eCanada for 8 months, against the word of someone who has had his citizenship stripped by congress then had it reaffirmed in an attempt to reinstate it.
Who are you more likely to believe? I deleted the poll because it wasn't necessary, it was created in a moment of irrationality due to emotional stress of the day.
It doesn't matter if it was 1/3 or 5/1 or whatever. You can't just delete a poll asking for your resignation. It looks quite bad on you.
Adasko: Even if he has cabinet accountability so does Alexs and mine. Just like Bruck has said, he is inexperienced. My opinion is the same but his cabinet is a failure and his policies are mostly copy and paste policies from older platforms. And its a failure.
i'm an insignificant speck...and i say VOTE FOR THIS GUY (meaning the dude bruck likes, rather then that other guy)
Vote for change is what this observer says.
Rearden is a crook. No dice.
So we all want the same things, the only difference truly seems to be the experience of a person.
So the big issue we are all voting on is this: Vote a Boomer, or vote a Veteran as the Prime Minister.
Some extreme choices if you ask me. Either brand new, or super old.

Natashan Trust:
i was on the forums and witnessed the attack on AR and i belive his move to make a poll was a bad desion caused by their pressuring and things he had on his mind, the guys were pretty rude. deleting it was the right thing to do.
Ragalanow if you looked at the thread the only people who posted on his thread were 3 new citizens asking for the honest truth from AR.
He replies with thread deletion.
Wait... didnt this guy cost eCanada 300g due to his own stupidity? I want to see him BANNED, not PRESIDENT!
kind of ironic that this is now the top article, considering he lost 😛
Then it looks like were missing out
Maybe Alex will be our next next Great Prime Minister 😃
Alexander Rearden - eCanada's Next Great Prime Minister... NOT! xD
