Citizens of Austria:

I am announcing my candidacy for Congress, running in the region of Vorarlberg under the aegis of the Austrian Unity Party. This will be the first time that I have run for an elected office in Austria, although I hold the post of Embassy Director in this current government.

If elected, the most valuable asset that I will bring to Congress is my experience. I have served as a Congressman 18 times so far, in four different countries. In addition, I was elected CP of Thailand three times, and took over the post a fourth time after the impeachment of the winner. I hope that the knowledge I have accrued over the years can be of some benefit to the country. At this time of shifting alliances and geopolitical instability, Austria needs both proven ideas and experience.

If elected, I will put my priority on the following issues:

1. Writing and instituting Congressional guidelines. I saw in this Congressional term a series of proposals put forward without any debate or any formal process. This needs to be rectified in order to keep the country stable, else we will be plagued by proposals that hinder positive change.

2. Codifying standard taxation levels for goods. We need to balance revenue and growth in our tax code. Right now, the taxes on some goods are slightly imbalanced, and require corrections to reach their maximum potential.

3. Recruitment. Austria needs more people, and the assistance of the Congress and CP can only make recruitment both easier and quicker. We as a Congress need to organize ourselves to further this goal, as quickly as possible.

4. General Congressional Organization. Congress, since Austria was only recently returned to the map, has been somewhat disorganized. Efficiency is crucial for a small nation, and we as a Congress should voluntarily attempt to make ourselves more efficient after the next elections.
