Alaskan Independence Day
Alaska is without a doubt one of the biggest battles in eRep so far. A multitude of nations took part in the battle. Both PEACE and EDEN threw their full weight behind the battle. Both sides tanked heavily and burned some major amounts of gold, one thing is for sure, Hungary and America will need a few weeks to recover from this battle. On paper PEACE is the biggest of the two, they have more countries, a bigger population and a larger Colonel, General, and Field marshal force, Its a fact. So the question is, why have we been victorious once again? Why is it that with a smaller force the allies have pulled another win from the Alaskan battle. This isn't the first time, Manitoba, Nunavut, and now Alaska. Three major battles, three consecutive losses for PEACE. The only logical reason for this is organization and commitment. American forces have truly made a miraculous turn around since the start of the war, America has developed one of the best if not THE best organized military forces in the New World right now.

Working hard to keep the wall low and when the time to tank comes the marines and other tank groups do it with flawless precision. The second factor that has yielded us this victory is commitment and this is true not only in the USA but around our network of alliances. Countless countries have sent their entire armed forces to US, a multitude of players making their journey to the states on their own. America and its allies take the necessary steps, never dragging their feet, always making the move the change the decision needed to put their best effort into every battle in a timely manner. It seems that we have grown closer to our allies while PEACE continues to suffer internal turmoil and consequently a loosening of the alliance. Commitment from our allies was a deciding factor in this battle.

We must never forget the sacrifices our allies have paid for us. I truly hope future US presidents always honor their commitment to our allies as they have so marvelously done to us. History has show us that unity, commitment, perseverance are the attributes of the strong and successful, its clear that these attributes have become common virtues of the American people and its allies. Day 709... Alaskan and in a sense full American independence from the tyranny of PEACE.

May PEACE never put another boot in America, or North America for that matter.
