Hello, I am Akki, and I am here to officially announce my candidacy as president, and to also introduce myself to entire Japan, if you do not know me. I am sure many of you already know me. I am male citizen, Businessman, and Politician in Japan, working for betterment of Japan. As my party name suggests, I am here for Japanese Unity, not here to create divisions, to make our country fall apart.

I had joined erepublik later stage in Beta; Coming to Japan, as I am native born Japanese who is currently living in USA. I was interested, because of economic, social, and militaristic value of this game. I am sure those are some of the common reason for others to have joined erepublik as well.

My Political and economical career may be shorter than others. I currently own 11 companies in Japan Privately ran by me myself; YaKuZa and AKU. YaKuZa and AKU is one of the biggest corporation in Japan, and I am sure You often buy product from us as well. Also, we are the largest contributers of Job on the Human Resource market. We always have job opening which helps people in Japan by keeping them employed. Now both AKU and YaKuZa is a crucial part of Japanese life, which keeps the market stable. While Nippon is protected by the federal money, your money, I ran all my company with my own money. I currently own and ran the largest private Business in Japan, and I hope in near future, other who have bigger dreams to step in, to bring Japanese economy to private hands.

I have only become Party president in the last election, and became congressmen in the previous election before it. However, I had always worked for the betterment of Japan, and helped my party be resurrected back into the second powerfulness and populous party in Japan, Not to mention the fact that Our party, National Alliance Party currently control almost 50% of the congress. I am sure I am able to accomplish similar thing for Japan as whole. To create fair, strong, united and opportunity filled country.

Social Policy:
I believe Japan must accept the fact that we are a country filled with diverse population. We must all make sacrifices, if we are to be united. However, with small compromises, with diverse idea, and diverse opportunities, I believe we can thrive. I will call for less regulation and the less take away of individual privacy and security, to allow much freer Japan. I will push for individual liberty and I Trust all citizens, that they are able to make the best decisions for themselves. I will push to allow more citizens will be represented, and heard, and promises none of your personal information will be used in the public without your consent. I are here to preserve right of all the citizens of Japan, and are here for each others. I believe Japan is a big family, which is striving for the best. I will kindly ask for everyone’s involvement and participation, but you will not be any times forced into it, or to support something you do not believe in. Freedom of speech and individual will be a must, and we will make sure that while we have freedom of expression, there is no oppression, to keep one group unheard. I will listen to you and talk to you, even if we do not support them. There will be no policing, without Habeas Corpus, and I will acknowledge your individual privacy and security. I am here to support the people. Not the people who run the government. I quote Cicero, “Salus populi supreme lex;” The security of the peoples is the supreme law.

I support new citizens. While Nippon was slacking, I had tried to do my best to open jobs to all 0 Skilled workers even at my loss. I believe Those new citizens are our future, and it is silly not to support them or listen to them. I believe those citizens are just as important as experienced members, and they too, should have same privilege of Voice as Our party statement states.

Political Policy:
I believe we need efficient effective government which is running the people of Japan. The cabinet positions are there, to make an effective government, and when they are not working, our government is less effective. I will make sure to create active cabinet, which will work with you, the citizens of Japan.

Here is the list of Cabinet positions, which I hope will increase our effectiveness...


-Vice President: Helps president and helps organize the Departments.

-Secretary of Treasury: Leads and runs government finance, government economic holdings and etc. And advise President on future economic policy.

-Secretary of State: Leads and runs the foreign relationship for eJapan and international commerce. Also, helps any other work which president requires help with.

-Army General: head of the army serving right under President.

-Secretary of Defence: Handles military Planning, coordinate with general and President to work for national security of eJapan.

-Secretary of Interior: Deals with developing the buildings and providing general welfares within Japan. These include hospitals, defence system, gifting, labour, and etc.

-Secretary of Communication: Helps the media sector of Japan, and also checks foreign media, and other advertisements, which Japan may wish to partake in future. Also, works with any questions which Japanese citizens may want answer for.

- Attorney General: Helps make sure that Japan is running fair, and there is no corruption within the government.



Economy:
Here is big topic. How do we fix Japanese economy? Well one thing I know for sure is that we need smaller businesses, which will contribute into the economy. I am strong supporter of small business, and I would personally like to see more small businesses, which invest into Japan, and offer more diverse, stable, and great Market. I believe in free market. When in capitalist society, I believe it creates much opportunity filled society. I am not here to shut down small businesses to support big businesses, but rather to create a economy, where anyone can rise up and become a general manager. I believe when government enters economy too much, It actually makes it worth. I believe individual citizens who had invested and placed risk themselves, have better judgement of themselves.

I believe these taxes will help more products to enter Japanese economy and to stabilize the economy. Also, in some sectors, we need to import now, as our domestic market can not keep up. Also, I believe Minimum tax must stay at 1 Yen, to allow more flexibility within the market. We must be prepared to be able to take action when another crisis hits. Also, I believe citizenship should be lowered as well. It is so easy to get job now days. There is no need to burn our treasury, and to bring more money into economy, when not required.

Military:
With our recent confusion at the Korean rebellion, I think we had seen some weaknesses in Japanese military, and I wish to fix it. I believe some of the suggestions made by others were a great options, and I would like to put them into action right away. We must be prepared. I personally want effective, but low cost army, which will be able to provide instant defence or offense when Japan requires it. I believe GLadDOS’s plan hit that dead on.

Foreign Affairs:
We must improve the relationship Japan hold with other bigger countries which surround us. Indonesia is one of the country which Japan must continue to befriend with. I think relations with Canada and USA must also improve, to provide safer environment for investors.

Now the question of Korea still is big one, and I think we need more discussion to create the best choose for future Japanese relation with Korea. As I am not the best diplomat in this country, most of the time, I hope my Secretary of State would support, and help Japan into right direction.
