Though I had been working for weeks to draw things together, sometimes Real Life has an amazing way of interfering. Normally I only get a 2 month period when such an endeavor is even possible being January/February when I am laid off from work. While I received my official lay-off last Friday it also came with other news. After a poor summer workwise that left me more spare time than I expected we managed to pick up a couple large contracts late that will make the winter months much busier than normal.

This situation has created a situation where they wish for me to fill in more part time during this period. Making things worse is these contracts are in the park which require a rather large amount of travel time. This creates the possibly of me being unavailable 12 hours a day for work. Add the normal human things like needing to eat/sleep I could be unavailable up to 20 hours/day.

Naturally I find it irresponsible for someone to take on such a huge job under those conditions.

Therefore I am withdrawing from the race and giving my endorsement to John Jay.
