Activity Bonus Saturday Oct. 28
A Lena
Every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday I will post an article with a requirement to prove activity. The requirement will change, so be sure to read each article. Anyone completing the requirement will receive 10,000 cc. At the end of the term, whatever percentage of activity bonus you completed, you will receive that percentage times 1,000 cc. So 50% completion is 50,000 cc as end of term bonus.
For this article, you will need to comment below and describe your favourite vacation you've ever taken to earn 10,000 cc. Be descriptive. You can comment until 06:00 server time Sunday October 29.
Good luck!

2019, Hawaii.. Pearl Harbour is an experience all on its own.
I don't think I've really ever been on vacation. Road trips yes. Vacations not so much. I did drive across the United States once. Saw Devil's Tower in Wyoming and Mount Rushmore in South Dakota. Fun times.
Gotta make time for a vacation man even if its just a short one.
Mexico, Mayan Riviera. Beautiful sea, weather, excellent food, fantastic tequila, I don't remember the rest 🥃
Rome & Amalfi Coast, Italian food is something else. Also drank my body weight in limoncello
We went to Sri Lanka two years ago and had planned to do remote work from there.
As the country had no foreign currency, they had to limit power availability (because most of the electricity was produced by burning oil), first by 2-3 hours a day, later so that we only had power at night and early in the morning.
And without power, mobile networks went down, too.
And as the only available internet was via the mobile networks, we did not have much connectivity most of the time.
So this turned into a full vacation.
Friendly people, good food and super weather made it the best vacation we have ever had.
Not expensive, either.
Relatively safe, too. The only time we got cheated was in a "herbal garden" where we bought 500€ worth of "health products".
Great two months, the latter part together with our children and our first granddaughter.
Sadly, my favorite vacation was a wish trip for my daughter who passed away in 2019. They sent our entire family to Orlando for a week all expenses paid and free entry to Disney, universal studios, Kennedy space center, SeaWorld, etc.
If you see fit, donate to make a wish foundation.
Never been on a vacation. Road trips to visit family for a few days here and there, or flights for work and that's it. Don't have any desire to spend a bunch of money on planes, hotels, rental cars, eating out every meal, etc just to sit around and waste time on some beach, or walk around and look around some far off destination - The hassle of the travel alone, especially planes is reason enough not to go. Turned down a free week in Aruba because the two full days of travel, flights, delays, connecting flights to spend 5 days there wasn't worth it to me
Eastern Mediterranean cruise. Got to visit Istanbul.
Byzantium*
i went to italy and slovakia for my senior year school trip and visited game of thrones sets. the food was amazing and the people were very friendly. i found things to be expensive though whenever we ate outside of free meals provided by the hotel.
We use to go camping in Peachland on Okanagan lake every year. It was always the best time. It was a beautiful campground with huge canopy of deciduous trees like oaks and such.
Across a quiet street was the beach and the lake with docks and boat launch. A short walking distance along an urban trail which was adjacent to a creek was the grocery and liquor store and a pub. Never had to drive anywhere. It was a perfect spot really.
They of course cut down the trees and put up condo's and life was not the same.
Just was driving though Kelowna - The skyline will be full of condo towers before we know it. Far cry from when I used to go there around 2005
Vegas in the summer, saw all the Circ du Solei shows, and almost spent a night in the desert outside the Grand Canyon thanks to a super shady bus tour company.
Very long time ago, but it was Disneyland, Universal Studios, Knotts Berry Farm. The highlights for me were the Indiana Jones ride, Star Tours, the Water World show, the Universal Studios tour ride, seeing the Back to the Future DeLorean up close, and even getting picked for the Special Effects show to sit in a cut-away DeLorean.
A couple "runner-ups" would be repeated road trips on a lot of my childhood summers up to the Edmonton area to visit family and just having fun with cousins there, as well as a couple different sight-seeing focused family road trips that ended with adrenaline filled go-karting for an extended time because it was either the opening hours of the morning or just mid-day everybody else is working or in school.
Staying at a hotel near the pacific ocean in Manhattan Beach, CA. Always tell myself that if I win the lottery, that's where I'll settle down. Huge beaches with volleyball games going all day, the sea breeze, and gorgeous sunsets every night.
Went to Vancouver when i was 12 for Canada day. Watching the bay fireworks and all the boats fire personal fireworks was awesome. Was there for a few weeks in the summer did to many things to list but I also enjoyed the Vancouver aquarium. Just the road trip itself was memorable.
Best vacation was my trip to Toronto in 2010. Met a bunch of eCanadians including Jacobi, Acacia Mason, Kazuo Leblanc, Aeriala, and the legendary Etemenanki ZAAAAAAAAA
also went to the HHOF which was fucking awesome and a Blue Jays game against the Yankees iirc
Trip to France- we saw Paris, and then drove to see the Normandy beaches. Just a great trip both fun and moving at the same time.
Barcelona - so much to experience, week was just not enough to get used to it. Seeing Sagrada Familia and walking parks, Camp Nou, La Barceloneta beach was another dimension of life
Scotland- sheep, scotch, haggis and hikes.
Toronto when I was a kid, going up the CN Tower, still the tallest building in the world at the time and looking down at a football game in Sky Dome, little dots moving a green field, fascinated with how high up I was and able to see across Toronto at night. Can't forget that trip.
Trip to San Diego a few years back. I really enjoyed the slower pace and calmer lifestyle. Wanted to go surfing but the waters were too calm - went kayaking through the sea lion caves instead. I remember going up a hill to a war memorial overlooking the border into Mexico. Local tacos were $1 and super delicious, streets were quiet and safe. Of-course, the San Diego zoo was a must-see, first time seeing giant tortoises - they move fast! It took the whole day and we couldn't get through everything. That trip was also when we drove to Sea World and spent a day there.
On a 5 star resort in Jamaica I’d bask by the beach during the day sipping drinks from the all you can drink bar. Swimming in there three pools and talking to the cutest of girls. Only to be invited to the club at night and party even harder.
Idk. I’m not a good described. Money pls lol
