Abrivianius News Inc; President Election 'fraud' explanation.

Dear citizens of the New World,

You are all wondering by now why the heck is Germany attacking Polish regions, and more important, why is Poland retreating and Germany winning?

Well, here is the short story;

A few months ago, around the time of Operation Burning Spirit, a PEACE led full-scale liberation war that freed Germany of Swedish reign, a relative unknown citizen that went by the name of shoot was dropped in Germany. Shoot is a Swedish agent, installed by the Swedes to follow every move of Germany, giving them valuable inside information and day-to-day updates on what is going on in Germany. As time went by, shoot gradually infiltrated the German government, providing Sweden with knowledge of everything that went on in the highest German institutes.

Roughly two months ago, shoot was reactivated as an active agent in order to prepare for the plan of invading Germany. Around that time, Germany had applied as a passive member of ATLANTIS, and in order for the Swedish plan to invade Germany and take Schleswig-Holstein, Germany was not to have support of it's ATLANTIS allies. Therefore the Swedish spy, shoot, leaked valuable ATLANTIS intelligence in order to blame Germany for the leak, as Germany had prior to joining ATLANTIS been very much leaning towards joining PEACE, so it was easy for a lot of countries to think that Germany as a whole was in fact a PEACE infiltrator and spy. The move partially succeeded, countries like Romania, Finland, Spain, Croatia, they all fell right in the Swedish trap.

So Sweden had it's support to invade Germany, it had deceived it's allies, betrayed, lied and back stabbed them for their own imperial goals. The result is known, Sweden and Poland steamrolled Germany, one region after the other fell, and at the end of the invasion, Germany had only two regions left.

A day before the elections, I received word of an impending Polish and Swedish PTO, after the failed PTO of the Congress Elections in May. At the time, we had five (5!) candidates for the presidency, Starkad Rorlikson, Gobba, shoot, Justin Tyme, and ekszer. Gobba managed to convince ekszer and Justin Tyme to support him, which reduced the number of candidates to three, not knowing he consolidated the German voters and made it more difficult for the Swedes to PTO.

The less candidates, the more votes needed to do a succesful PTO.

That is the main reason I removed Starkad Rorlikson as candidate of the FDD. The election had to be between shoot and only one German candidate, to make it as difficult as possible for the Swedes to win. Gobba already had the support of three parties, so it was an easy choice for me, Starkad had to go in order to save Germany, something I said all along. Starkad wasn't the bad guy, he wasn't to blame, he just was in the wrong place at the wrong time. It was imperative that no one knew their plan had leaked, because as soon as they would know we would counter their voters, they would divert some of their voters from Indonesia to Germany. That is why I used the weak excuse of the third term rule, that's why I had to lie to each and every one of you, my adversaries, my friends, every single eGerman. I honestly thought we could beat the Swedes at a PTO, I thought we had secured enough votes, but if you know Sweden at all, you know they do not care about their allies, they care about themselves. Sweden and Poland diverted all their voters to Germany, in order to secure the Office of President for themselves, instead of helping their allies with the PTO in Indonesia.

I had to lie, deceive and betray a lot of you in order to try and prevent this PTO, and I failed. I will take my responsibility, and willingly take any punishment the German people want to impose on me. I already resigned as Commander of the German Foreign Legion, and if the German people so wishes, I will go into voluntary exile and leave Germany and German politics all together.

It was a pleasure working with you guys, and I have enjoyed my time in Germany. Whether or not I stay in Germany, that is up to you, the German people.
