About upgrading the training grounds to Q3

I have Q2 training grounds and it costs me 28 Gold to upgrade to Q3. Is this worth it? Let's find out!

You get 10 + 1.8 = 11.8 daily strength points(sp) if you have no friends, like me, or 10 + 1.8 + 1 = 12.8 sp/day if you're a popular guy with at least 2 friends invited in the game.

With Q3 training grounds you would get:

15 + 1.8 = 16.8 sp/day with 0 friends
OR
15 + 1.8 + 1 = 17.8 sp/day with at least 2 friends

In other words, the days needed for a Super Soldier medal are:

250 / 11.8 = 21.186 days (Q2 training grounds, 0 friends)
250 / 12.8 = 19.531 days (Q2 training grounds, 2 friends)
250 / 16.8 = 14.880 days (Q3 training grounds, 0 friends)
250 / 17.8 = 14.044 days (Q3 training grounds, 2 friends)

This means, in a mercantile approach, that you "earn" solely from SS medals:

5 / 21.186 = 0.236 Gold/day (Q2 training grounds, 0 friends)
5 / 19.531 = 0.256 Gold/day (Q2 training grounds, 2 friends)
5 / 14.880 = 0.336 Gold/day (Q3 training grounds, 0 friends)
5 / 14.044 = 0.356 Gold/day (Q3 training grounds, 2 friends)

We can easily see that by investing 28 Gold for upgrading Q2 to Q3 we increase our earnings from SS medals by 0.1 Gold/day in both scenarios (0 or 2 friends). So we will need 28 / 0.1 = 280 days to recover our initial investment.

VERY IMPORTANT: All of this is true in current conditions. If admins decide, at some point, to raise the value of strength needed to receive a SS medal then the time needed for recovering your investment can dramatically increase 🙂
