A vision - TMP.
RobbieClark
Today I would like to talk to you about the vision of a few men and their will and desire to make the vision possible.
We are TML as specialist organisation dedicated to making our players succeed in having a prosperous life on eRepublik. We did this through allowing players to gain medals such as mercenary medal, hence our name True mercenary legion.
Our success at this is proven by how we are a recommended MU and because the US army only beats our membership.
We love what we do and because of this unleashing our 2012 vision for eRepublik:
1) An end to stupid political favouritism.
2) To rid ourselves of old alliances.
3) To start a new with a policy to focus on the players not the game.
Now I am sure many of you are asking what do we mean by point 1. Well let me explain:
The forums clearly suggest that when you decide to elect presidents what happens is that some party’s decide to have a vote on who to chose before and then vote as a team.
This is despicable!
You should vote for who is best for YOU! No-one else!
That is why we would like to unleash TMP and organisation of change!
TMP are TML’s political wing dedicated to giving YOU the best opportunities on the game. We will return to “old politics,” where people didn’t have online debates, NO, just, “If we invade X then we will get Y.” It was a time before EDAN and TERRA, it was a time when you mattered.
If you believe in change and you want to see the world become a better place, change to TMP and your dreams can come true!
There will be inferstucture and there will be CHANGE!
Be brave and join today - TMP a new beginning!

1. I find it ironic that the 'True Mercenary Legion' uses the United Nations symbol in it's article.
2. Party's nominate candidates by Game Mechanics, the forums only facilitate the primaries. I fail to see how it's so bad.
3. Who's not voting for themselves? Since when hasn't this been the case, and why didn't I get the memo?
Overall, you're really bad at stirring the populist pot. You just seem like a guy who doesn't really understand the mechanics of our political system.
Actually I do! In reply to your 3rd point many choose to sell votes so maybe you are the one who doesn't understand. I know politics as a some time ago I had an account who was eCanadian (one of the first) and I was president 3 times so don't talk politics to me. I may have "outdated" views but at least I am man enough to say them. TML want the players to be free and not trapped by the select few who seem to rule this eWorld!
Also how is the UN symbol ironic? The UN is a world wide organisation and TML allows people to fight worldwide.
I would expect someone that's been elected three times to the Presidency to recognize the fact that candidates need to be nominated by parties to even run in the first place, making the idea of this being a despicable process moot, as it's literally necessary to someone being elected.
No one sells votes in a Country President election, and the amount of people who sell votes in Congressionals pale in comparison to the ones who vote on their own accord.
Who's trapped? I don't see anyone being subjugated here, seeing as it's literally impossible for someone to be subjugated in eRepublik. We can't stop you from publishing, shouting, ect. Congressional elections are open, within game mechanics. There are plenty of entry level positions for the Executive. IRC and the forums are open to anyone who registers, and even guests as well. I fail to see any subjugation in the eUSA that you're speaking of.
And the UN symbol is ironic for two reasons,
A) The first clause of the UN charter states, "To maintain international peace and security" which the idea of a mercenary group pretty clearly violates.
😎 The UN actually has a commission dedicated to fighting the usage of Mercenaries called the International Convention against the Recruitment, Use, Financing and Training of Mercenaries.
You could've picked any PMC logo but you went with the anti-War group? lolwut
why are offsite primaries bad? they make sure that there is a valid representation of the party, and protect against PTO's.
It's not like the parties are turning party members away from the primaries. It's just that they ONLY LET PARTY MEMBERS VOTE. that's a pretty reasonable concept.

Civil Anarchy, the UN is a joke no matter what its claimed goals might be- The UN has been used as a tool to start wars in recent years, not prevent them.
The above being said, war is half of eRepublik so your point is moot. An eUN would be just as big a joke as a game that allows podunk shitholes like Poland and Indonesia to become world powers.
There are changes that I'd like to see so we have to start somewhere.

TML is just an excuse to be selfish. It is the polar opposite of the eUS Military, which fights at its own expense AND follows orders that aid the eUS and its Allies.
TML and TMP are a loose association of self-centered players who only care about themselves, not playing for the fun and advantages of fighting as a team. Kind of sad, really.
What are you talking about? Yea you must feel great standing there talking big with how many mercenary medals? - Oh wait I see - NONE! That means that all you do is fight for who the best players ask you to.
@Orpheus: They still ban the usage of Mercenaries, so my point stands. And eRep is basically 100% war anyway, so the UN thing I agree with you on.
@Robbie: I have no mercenary medals because I care enough by my country to continuously fight for it.
@Civil - Just because we are trying to get mercenary medals doesn't mean were not continuously fighting for the US. TML helps you accomplish both. We have many allies who need our help as well. When USA is up on battles vs resistance regimes and up big in other fights, i move on to help allies. I don't understand where the issue lies?
PS: Poland has kicked our ass in a couple battles recently and I try to focus as much as I can there, but when that war isn't going... i concentrate on my MM.
@Fitisin - Not true at all.MM are part of the game. Would you judge someone if they only had congress medals or newspaper medals? Oh wow, they are so selfish... please - its what you want to make of the game... I get more fun trying to accomplish both, following DOD orders as well as going after MM. Anyways, just my 2 cents.
@Carlos: By the very definition of a Mercenary Medal, you're not fighting continuously for the United States. Sure, you can fight in negligible battles in enemy countries, or save fights in Allied countries for big battles, but you're still doing less damage for the USA than you would if you were not getting those Medals. War is constant, and just because you fight in the big battles, doesn't mean that you're fighting continuously for us. You fail to understand the definition of continuously.
@ Civil - I get your point, but aren't the wars that our allies are in considered fighting for the US? I don't understand how when DOD asks us to help fight the Serbs or Poland (while using allies) not fighting for the US?
@Carlos: You miss the point. Fighting for allies is fine, but Mercenary medals require you to fight for every country, including enemy countries. Even if you're wasting damage in an unnecessary Rwar or some workaround that doesn't fight directly against the USA, you're still not fighting for the USA. Therefore, our total damage is hurt by your unit, not helped.
@ Civil - MM require you to fight for 50 countries out of 70 possible... it doesnt make me fight for enemy countries if you dont want to... im 20/50 so far and I have yet to fight for an enemy - and all were allies at the time of the battles.
See!
@Carlos: That's because Eden and Terra have a collective 21 countries, and ONE has 9 members with 12 affiliates, so you will, inevitably have to fight against the USA/Eden/Terra. And you completely neglect my point of wasted damage, where you're putting damage towards countries that do not benefit the USA in any way, shape or form, aka, Wasted Damage. Therefore, as I've said about 3 times now, you're taking damage from the country and placing it in irrelevant, and sometimes malicious, battles.
How can damage be wasted you still get rank points.
Because it's not being used for the United States, it's being put in some meaningless battle instead of an important one.
