We have seem eIndo taking down USA states against 15 MPPs(at the time)
honestly I think q5 is a waste of gold investment.

rofl. First of all, getting rid of the Q5 hospitals will cause a recession when employees' low wellness reduces productivity, and will also cause our military to be weakened. A soldier needs battle experience often in order to maximize his damage. So even if we could get rid of Q5 hospitals, it would be a horrendous idea. Now, onto some numbers about your Defence System plan.

If we were to put a Q5 DS in, say, NSW, it would only help provide an additional 50%, boosting the damage value of the region from 123600 to 185400. If we were to put it in NT, it would only boost the damage value from 5500 to 8250.

But here's the kicker - as of now, the only country we face a threat from is Indonesia. Indonesia has the potential to do millions of damage in multiple battles - and the DS would only delay the conquest of a region by several minutes. Add in PEACE reinforcements, and you can see why a Q5 Defence System is useless.

Oh yeah, and if Romania can't handle Indonesia, do you seriously think Australia can? The only thing we can do is help boost our economy and military by providing war games and Q5 Hospitals - a Defence System of any kind is just a ridiculous waste of money.

waste of gold investment i think waste of gold is the now dead centerlink system and the q5 defense systems arn't for "saving" us just for adding more wall in so we don't get butt fucked like other countries with no defense systems.

you fail to see that it is for the future because if we have a center group of regions we get surrounded better to just have it on the borders
especially since WA is a very important region

Remember:
1. We don't have WA, it is still occupied by Indonesia and the government doesn't have the money to buy it back. In addition, some people think it's not worth the money anyway (not me).
2. Moving citizens to the borders will only mean that they cannot participate in war games, and if you study erep military tactics (and watch a few of the battles in the eUS), you will know that the border regions will be overrun just the same. Even if we were to move the entire populations of NSW and Victoria to NT and install a Q5 Defence System, Indonesia would still easily overrun NT. It's better to develop our military than spend thousands to build defence systems.
3. We are already surrounded. What makes you think Defence Systems will change that?
4. Indonesia would butt f*ck us even if we had Defence Systems, as outlined in my previous comment.
5. Defense Systems would be a good idea if they were free. Too bad they're far from it.

What do people ATTACK everyone when they POST something. I find it so amazing so many people are so negative, they're do more damage to the country than anyone else!

i like the idea of have the people live in the border area. if everyone is living in VIC/NSW then the defense level there are lower at the borders.

Defence Q5 systems? have they been used anywhere in the world successfully. 50% increase in defense sounds like allot to me!

I know everyone is always talking about eINDO being the superstrong power, but someday that might not always be the case or maybe when the game resets we'd have a better plan for next time (will the game ever reset?).

Considering that these players has been looking after eAus for such a long time, I would think that they do way more good for eAus then bad.

A 50% increase is a large amount, but not enough to make a difference for eAustralia at this point.

Q5 hospitals are a better investment. Having 1 Q5 in each state will spread out our population. (also spreading out congress election votes)

Unless something major happens, eIndo will be in it's position for a long while yet. Q5 defence systems are something to consider in the future, but right now hospitals will be a better use of eAustralian money.

We're not trying to be negative. We are trying to impress on you the futility of Q5 Defence Systems in a country that isn't exactly the most populous. Q5 Defence Systems only work well on border regions with extremely high populations - like California. That is not the case with eAustralia, at least until New Zealand enters the game. Until they get Q5 Hospitals, SA and NT will pretty much be barren wastelands compared to NSW and Victoria. But unless eIndonesia suddenly shows great aggression towards us (and they've been very gracious), it will be much better for our economy and military to have more citizens in regions with Q5 Hospitals.

And a note on resetting the game - we've discussed this on the eAustralian forums. Quite frankly, it seems unlikely, considering the time and money players have poured into the game. But if the game is reset, eIndonesia would once again rise to the top, since they have an active population far larger than ours.

Come onto the eAustralian forums. There's a lot to learn.

A Q5 Defense System is not going to save you if eIndo decides to attack. You'd have to have like 4000 citizens living there for it to put up a wall so high that the Indos would have to pull out the big guns and the Tanking Gold. Although California only had a Q4 Defense System, it proved that Indonesia can crush a Q5 Wall manned by 4000 guys if they put their mind to it.

I've said it on the forums, and I'll say it here. Australia's best defense is NOT TO TAKE BACK W. Australia! Some people are thinking this is madness. Why would we leave any part of our sovereign territory in the hands of Indonesia?

Our nation is surrounded by Indonesia. They are a very effective shield protecting us from invasion. They're like an iron fist encircling us not to crush us but to protect us. That may not what they had in mind when they let us take back every one of our territories except WA, but that is how it is working out. Through diplomacy we have created bonds of trust and some genuine friendship despite the feelings of the general population. I wouldn't worry about being invaded by eIndonesia. I would be more worried about invasion from eBrazil or their South African puppet state.

So say it happens, eBrazil decides they want to challenge Indonesia perhaps to keep the game interesting. War would break out first in South Africa. Then say Indonesia starts loosing, most likely because they barely have any people or defense systems in South Africa, and they're busy ending the life of EDEN. To cross from South Africa to the East Indies, eBrazil would have to invade West Australia! If we own WA, eBrazil will have to go to war with us so they can take the war to Indonesia's sovereign territories. We would become eIndonesia's meat-shield. Let us not put ourselves between Indonesia and Brazil. Then we might avoid being directly involved in that war.

Then you'd think they'd would know to give people helpful and informative responses. Full of history and knowledge... like why the current Hospital are where they are for historical reasons.

How many people get up and walk away from the game because people appear abrupt/rude. I feel often that old timers words are intolerant of new comers and people that are not so involved.

I agree that the old timers messages sometimes seem harsh and uninformative but that is because they have been saying all these things for months on end now. Unfortunate, but true. A lot of them have gotten tired of it.

Now, onto the discussion that Benmaster requested 🙂

The Q5 Hospitals in Victoria and New South Wales are staying buddy. I hired a bunch of goons to stop anyone from trying to move them 😛 But seriously, we are already producing more Q5 Hospitals to slowly deploy across the states. It'll take time, but we needn't root up a hospital and put it somewhere else right now. By doing that, we'd have to move all residents from those locations anyway so they could make use of those hospitals.
And that's just the hospitals 😛 By creating more rather then juggling around the 2 we already have we ensure that ALL states have hospitals, so that rather then compromising one location to enforce another, we enforce both 😃.

As for the Defense system, all of the discussions involved have just come to the same result:
-There only purpose would be against eIndo, and if they actually wanted to kill us, they'd come down like an incendiary explosive on a hay bale, regardless of whether we had a defense system and regardless of its quality. While you may discuss that the world is changing and that it may not always be eIndo, then eIndo will have been rolled down by some other big pin with equal or more power, hence we'd stand no chance either way 😛.
Of course, game mechanics may change, but we will have plenty of warning about that sort of thing, so we will be prepared if they should, don't worry 🙂.

Are you saying that the information provided by these people is not helpful or informative?

And why can people not research these things for themselves rather then getting annoyed when people bring up a point that counters their own and then get annoyed that they did not know it.

If you have an idea or a question. perhaps head over to the forums. read up a bit and see whether your idea is still applicable, whether it has been answered before or whether after a bit of consideration, is still needed.

if people did that, then im sure people like myself (who acted quite nicely tbh) would be more inclined to help genuine questions and idea's. rather then sprouting quick facts and reasons it wont work which may appear blunt to others.

Its a shame to hear eWA is a strategic liability. Being in eWA myself, but a citizen of eIndo just feels odd. I also thought that the agreement on the return of eWA had a clause that would return it back to OZ after a period of time. I guess I'll have to move to the Eastern States (sigh)

I'm from QLD myself. While I'd like a Q5 hospital in eQLD, eNSW is no different.
