It was last October, 6 months ago, that I took my first step into forefront eUK politics when I became Party President of the (then) People's Zeteticist Party, which I reformed into the Movement for Democratic Unity. Since then I have served a further two terms as party leader, and am currently serving my fourth term as Congressman for South East.

I have now come to the decision to stand down from forefront eUK political activity in order to let some new blood and ideas into my place. I will therefore not be seeking reelection for Party President of the MDU on Friday, and neither for my South East Congress seat on the 25th April.

This is of course not to say I will be spending any less time in eUK. With my stepping down from politics, I hope to pursue a career in political commentary, and perhaps even get involved in our fine army which I have long respected. The MDU is also at a vital stage in it's history and I hope to play a key role in the reformation of our community. I look foreward wholeheartedly to the leadership elections on the 15th between two fantastic party members, thehorseltd and Robalbinio - their term in office will be a deciding one, and this next election will decide the future of the party.

I would like to thank all the people I have worked with during my time in politics, Tommy, Horrice, Sir Graystar, Oexis, ThomasR26 and countless others. I now look forward to working with you outside of politics too!

My path is now open and I look forward to exploring new routes within eRepublik!
