Yes, I just wrote a thing. And then I deleted it. So here goes a new one:
Basically, our political climate is pretty shakey right now, and because I am too tired to do my pondering for myself, I'm going to point out a few facts that I feel confident to have gathered from various articles and comment threads, and make some insightful ideas of my own, and let you guys do the pondering for me. 🙂

I promise to attempt to be as non-partisan as possible. I won't even mention how IBB93 is a power-grabby puppetmaster who only exists in this world as the Yang to DMV3's Yin. The butter to his scotch. The butt to his plug.
Point the First: Rylde's arguement that eSpain is weak currently, and can be kept occupied for a long time. I think this is probably very shortsighted, since we had to buy our country back from them the last time this insanity was pulled. One might wonder if Rylde, Rolo, crisfire, et al might stand to profit from giving eSpain legitimate causus belli against our great nation. Perhaps they are getting paid in gold bars? Something to consider before you go patriotically pounding your chests.
Point the Secon😛
As it stands, we are 'winning' these resistance wars. DMV3 has elected to point his MU at eCanada rather than eSpain, because that is what the CP has ordered. (The very same CP, by the way, who is allegedly working to diplomatically save our country from getting wiped again.) However, DMV3, will you come out and say that if eSpain decides to punish eCanada and attempt a wipe, that the Praetorian Guard will stop fighting eCanadian forces and start fighting eSpain?

I have noticed that Dr. Manhattanus has been reserved and not that hilarious lately because of all this nonsense. Do you not realize how much I enjoy it when he is hilarious? Stop your stupid RW's and let him get back to being funny. It's so much better.
Point the Fourth: I do not see this RW thing being a sustainable offense. We will wear ourselves out. Eventually the two-clickers will run out of money and guns, and eSpain will roflstomp their way to British Columbia. Unless of course, Rylde and crew are giving away free food and guns to fight the Spanish? You might buy some support that way, guys.
Point the Fifth: These RW's are very likely a profiteering maneuver by the perpetrators, to also bring about the wipe of eCanada because petty, poor losers are upset that they couldn't win an election and be president of Canada. Stop it, you're making things stressful for everyone else.
If I can think of any other ones, I'll update/edit this article. For now, that's all a sleepy Keven can come up with.

I think that it was a pleasant coincidence that the Freedom Fighter medal was released just as this Spain occupation business overboiled.
Another excellent point. I should probably put that up there as Point the Sixth.
Points well made. Acute observations well-seasoned with a smattering of distrust, garnished on the side with old grudges, complemented with a light topping of paranoia. I find it funny how sides keep switching around in eCanada. I can barely tell who is White Hat Hero and who is Black Hat Villain half the time...but I would like Maninhattanus to be back to his old self, too.

If that's what you've gathered from the media about the RW efforts, you're incorrect to the point that I'd be a bit disappointed in our media for giving you that idea.
Well yeah, that's exactly what I've gathered from the media. Of course, it was late and I was barely able to keep my eyes open. For the most part, it seems to me like it was a 'Suicidal RW for teh lulz', versus a 'Give them everything they want and maybe they won't occupy Canada for much more than two months this time'.

We still ended up conquered by Spain and forced to buy ourselves back.
hardly forced, we could have continued RW's, no matter how useless. We chose to give up.
Has it been better, having a freed country, than when we were occupied? I personally don't know the upside either way, but still.
I preferred fighting for my country and not paying rent for my own regions.
I wonder if everyone else would agree with you, that it is better to fight and lose than to put aside pettiness, realize you won't be winning, and to prosper from this realization?
