Ok straight to the point, we now have a brand new shiny medal to get gold, BUT no battles to earn those rewards.

My suggestion as posted in senate here http://community.auserepublik.com/index.php?topic=18626.0 is to ask Brazil to release Chimor via RW back to Peru, so that we/Australia can attack it as soon as practical.

pros are
Chimor borders Queensland and is a fish region.
Brazil don't need fish as they have 3 other sources
Australia does need fish
We would have initial MPP support, Peru will not
Chimor is landlocked by Brazil and Australia no other countries can NE and interfere.
We get to earn the new rewards.
Does not effect other close neighbors
Takes a battle off Brazils hands so they can concentrate elsewhere.
We could have our own battle within 48 hrs.

Even for new citizens, those first few medals are a goal that can be met within a month or two, supplementing their gold income for important upgrades. However, a single battle will not benefit them. An ongoing campaign is required for all citizens to reap the benefits.
