Join the new world

This morning I woke up, again.

I'll admit, I still don't really know how this game works anymore. Back in my day (shakes cane at the sky) we could get by on just two clicking. Seems like now you have to buy Gold, not that I plan on doing that.

Each day, coming to terms with the fact that I'm back is interesting. This game once consumed a fairly large portion of my free time. It won't be doing that again, but it doesn't have to. I've discovered that it's possibly to be highly engaged without refreshing the homepage every twenty minutes.

This is an opportunity for reinvention of the self. I was once an angsty teenager playing this game, that was a decade ago. Now, as an actual adult - things are different. There isn't pressure, this can be an escape - much as it has been after meeting old friends still kicking around.

So here's to new beginnings - and to old friends. I'm eager to see what comes next as I continue down this path.
