A Real Election...

Day 859, 20:25 Published in Thailand Austria by Jeff Hamilton

After having been swamped with work and having my appendix burst on me in the middle of my Presidential term (sorry everyone), I just wish to say that I am still alive.

Now, onto the point of my article. We have in the coming election cycle the first "real" election that Thailand has seen since Antonio Salgado and Korbin King were running. For those who do not know when that was, that was in December of 2008.

In this next election, we have two very well-known candidates with two very different backgrounds. Albert Neurath is best known as a former President of the nation, as being one of the last of Thailand's old players to remain in the country, and as being the country's longstanding MoFA. Gates Schellinger, the current President, is a highly experienced military mind, a powerful soldier, and will be an excellent President for Thailand if he is elected.

I will write more on the election later, including my personal thoughts on the two candidates. All I can say now is "good luck" to the both of them.
