The election is in but 3 days and our press is empty of any presidential pitching of manifestos or political debate between the parties.

Why is this?

Because it is obvious to our inhabitants that North Korea has not been a democracy for some time.

After questioning my credentials as a presidential candidate Neji Hyuga showed his true colours yesterday, like so many before him.

I am not the best man for this job, but I am here voicing for the opposition and I will never be banned for corruption like so many opportunists to grace North Korea with their poisoning presence.

Our North Korea is what we make it; we should never resign ourselves to a fate as Russia’s puppet.

If you consider yourself a member of the opposition to Russian oppression, I want you to be in one of the parties, I want you to be active and I want you to be vocal in our press about the state of our county, writing comments or writing your own articles. This is not a battle that will be won by one man or one party in one election.

It will take time, cooperation and patience, after all Pyongyang wasn’t built in a day.
