Join the new world

Two days ago I was supposed to put out my last article while I was a citizen of Switzerland but then it just turned to chaos. The day I was supposed to turn out the newspaper I was feeling under the weather and just had a two click day. The next day I was feeling just fine and got on expecting to have then, but the world had other plans. The internet was being a bitch and had broken down. This caused a whole host of problems. F**k. First, I couldn’t get on to work, this was the most painful of the three, and this was literally the day I would earn my first hard worker medal. Second, I needed to write this article, I was going to put out a citizen request as soon as this was published and the longer I wait the more likely my contacts friends will use their citizenship passes. Lastly, the day after today I will leave on a trip where I will not be able to get on the internet regularly so it is in my best interest to get over to Ireland ASAP. Enough of my problems, you came here for the news and my insight (which has been lacking as of late) so best get on with the show. I will be doing only Western Europe again but this time it’s not my laziness that is causing this, my internet, though up, is being super slow so I want to keep it shorter.

Austria
Hungary and other ONE forces used their superior military power to wipe Austria. Hungary is not very powerful, however when it is attacking the US and putting down rebellions in France as well so Austria retook Upper Austria fairly soon after. I do hope that Austria can hold their remaining property but it is not likely.

Belgium
United Kingdom’s training war with Belgium is at an end. They signed a peace treaty four days ago (damn, I really haven’t written a news article in a while). This war was to get better relations between the two countries. Besides that Belgium is as boring as it was before.

France
France’s RW’s seem to be a meager attempt to free themselves. I find it hard to believe that the government cooperated with these attacks but I really can’t tell.

Germany
Since my internet is so slow the map won’t load I can’t tell how many territories Germany currently hold but I’m going to assume it isn’t many. Hesse was taken by Slovakia and things aren’t looking up for Germany. At least they have an area on the map; the same can’t be said for Switzerland.

Ireland .
Ahhh, the country I’m moving to. They too seem to have their troubles. Since I have some connections to Irish politics I managed to divulge this. Ireland is doing a land swap with Canada for Nunavut. In return Canada will completely take the entirety of Ireland and allow Ireland to take back Shannon and Mayo. This in the end will look kind of like shield around Ireland so that the UK can’t attack. The government made this decision because, though they can win a RW they can’t hold it from a regular attack. This was the plan but was discarded when the new congress came into office. Now it just seems like the Irish government is content to play a game of we’ll take it and you’ll take it back.

Italy
Italy is kind of like a groundhog. Putting its head above ground once and a while but scurrying below with any sign of trouble. They, if not wiped again already will probably be soon. I kind of feel bad for them. We think it is bad to be covered by Slovenia and Macedonia, but they, they get a whole lot more of Macedonia then we do. They have all of this territory which they will never, ever get back. O.K. maybe they will, just not in the foreseeable future.

Portugal
The little side war Portugal had with Mexico has turned against them. They were pretty far into Mexico when Mexico retaliated harshly. They tore apart what Portugal had previously taken and are now on the attack. They took Azores, the islands leading up to Portugal, and are now attacking mainland Portugal.

Spain
After looking at what they’ve done all I can say is, WTF? They are attacking The United States, Canada, and Brazil. I remind you that the USA is the sixth most populous nation and Brazil is the third, how the hell they are managing to move forward with ALL of the attacks? I know they have allies, but come on, they can’t hold all of them up, can they? If they somehow sustain all of these assaults to the end we are looking at the largest spanning empire in the game.

Switzerland
Our several attempts at freeing ourselves didn’t work at all. Thus my leaving to help us recruit more people to help Switzerland, hopefully this venture works or else I’m not coming back.

United Kingdom
Look at the afore mentioned Ireland.
