A Quick Look at Western Europe- A catch up article(reprise)

Day 1,494, 11:22 Published in Switzerland Switzerland by sgtchewy

Last time I did a catch up article I said I would start writing more articles in the future. I didn't. I'm not going to try to do the same thing this time because than it would just sound fake. I will write articles when I get the time to. For now I will just do a regular newscast and see if I have time for another one later.

On a brighter happier note, elections are coming up on Christmas so make sure you take a break from unwrapping you iPad to come and vote. A side note for those of us who are running, run in Graubunden, not Svizzera Italiana. Unless you want to take the risk that it won't be taken and you will be the only one running, it's you're choice. Just remember voters, I don't care if you agree or disagree with me, just make sure you cast you're vote.

Austria

In general Austria is in good condition, with just two of there regions missing, they are in nice condition coming into election day.

Belgium

Apparently France took a section of Belgium because they are fighting to get it back.

France

France is in beautiful position. Ok, I lied. They are in a just as screwed up position as they were before. Good(and old)news: Poland has left, a France has back a nice portion of their own country. Bad news: Three countries still have a sizable portions of France. Serbia controls the lowest piece of France and one of it's juicy rubber resources. The USA has formed a sort of barrier between the two keeping Serbia out of northern France. And I can't, for the life of me, figure out why Canada is also in the picture. Just in case my detailed report wasn't good enough I have put in nice image.

Germany

Germany is back! And probably has been for a while. Poland may have pulled out of France but they haven't pulled out of Germany. Germany will probably never completely get it's territories back. It is in the unfortunate center of the entire war. With the two great powers on either side, Germany gets crushed in the center. However they have five territories so they aren't in terrible condition.

Ireland

Ireland can finally have some peace and quiet. Starting to go under from the attacks by TEDEN, Ireland is no longer a priority for the UK. Enjoy the prosperity while it lasts Ireland.

Italy

I was absolutely shocked to find that Italy was on the map. No, I didn't say that right, I'll restart. I was absolutely shocked to find where Italy was on the map. Homeland Italy has PTO'ed and has been for sometime. Now Italy has found refuge elsewhere. Austria. Yes, the upper part of Austria is now under Italian control. I have heard of countries renting regions for safety issues, and I'm not sure that this isn't one of these cases. Anyone who knows please comment on it. Thanks.

The Netherlands

The Dutch are still fighting for their freedom from the Polish. Good luck.

Portugal

The 25th war between Portugal and Venezuela has commenced. YEEEAAA! Ok, so it has started out as one sided as usual. Portugal has wiped Venezuela without even sweating. This may be a part of what looks like TEDEN's attempt to completely take the America's. Interesting right?! It has almost nothing to do with us but it's still interesting.

Spain

Spain, for once, has for the most part been left alone. Everyone deserves a bit of peace time once in a blue moon, even Spain.

Switzerland

The moment you have all been waiting for. Drum roll please.....
We are still partially taken over!!!! Oh. You all knew that. 🙁 So much surprise. At least it is better this time. The U.S.A. likely won't stay in our regions for long so we might get them back sooner than expected. Them again, maybe not. All we can do at this point is to wait, and to keep on fighting.

UK

The situation in the UK is funny. Not the ha-ha funny. As in....yikes. They are being attacked by France for the first time in a while. Canada has yet again started an assault on parts of the United Kingdom. London hadn't fallen ever before this year, but now it has gone down at least three times. This two way attack is what drew pressure off of Ireland.

Every single time I look at the map of Europe and think, it couldn't possibly get more confusing, and screwed up, it does. I have seen Europe in some strange, wierd, and even disgusting jumbles. However this one, this one takes the cake. The cake may be a lie but Europe still takes it. All I can hope it that next time I get on eRep Switzerland has all it's regions back, and Serbia has withdrawn back to the land from whence it came. THAT is what I want for Christmas.

Merry Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa, from your best friend, Sgt.Chewy
