This editon of NRB revolve around yours truly as a candidate for country-president in this December's election!





Who the hell are you?

Quick bio of me:
Kristoph Woldskji, 27 year old, RL norwegian, from the «hillbilly» areas south of Oslo.
Industrial electrician/automatist and firm beliver in the power of the working-class.
Have been playing eRepublik for almost a year, all the time as an eNorwegian, now closing in on my 12th Hard-Worker.
Have also been stupid enough to put RL money into this game at earlier points of time...

Political and military history in eRepublik:
I've served 3times as a congressman in our small, but proud nation, though sadly it's not a feat getting elected for Congress when we have 2regions or more.
Have also served as Minister of Immigration for 3periods earlier this year, under CP's Endymionis and Che Kukaken.

Ran for CP in June, and lost by a hair-tread to Endymionis.
Effectivly ended my political carreer later that month, when I together with fellow partymen, attempted to impeach Endymionis.

Did serve in Det Norske Forsvaret / FSK, untill I fell from grace and left on my own accord like the coward I am according to others...
Again because I pissed off Endymionis, even though this time it was actually unintentional...
Currently serving under commander Fredrikz in eNorwegian MJK.





Political view

As we've seen the last few weeks, then Asgard has been temporarily asskicked by Poland, EDEN doesn't do jack and Russia have probably saved our ass once again by blocking off the «pinkies».
Even with EDEN's passiveness then it seems they are for now our safest option, as boring as it might seem.
I myself could see us walking with Asgard, we could have an exciting time, but still we'd be underpowered compared to our more dangerous neighbours like Poland and Russia; and maybe wiped for longer periods of time.

Still I believe that we should keep and maintain our strong ties with our neighbours and friendly allies, amongst others; Finland, Sweden, Russia, the Netherlands, Portugal and Argentina.

Immigration-wise it's been quiet for very long, with the former PTO-threat practically nullified.
Though some possible elements have manifested in the smallest of our nations parties to try getting into congress for medals and citizenship-passes.
My take on immigration is that we need fresh blood to the nation, we are currently too small for almost anything; so filtered immigration and an attempted babyboom would be my goals for a coming term.

Economy is a hard one nowadays since products don't sell very well, except Q7 Weapons and they sell for very, very low prices in general.
Even gold is ridiculesly low, being worth 8-10times as much just some months ago.

Raising the income-tax and such to try getting more cash through labour and sales to the national treasury, would probably harm the general player in our little nation more than it does good...
So my initial stance on taxes is as it currently is.


My goals summarized;
Stay in EDEN, maintain other allies
Beware of, and still keeping eNorway PTO-free
Filtered immigration, attempt babyboom
Keep current taxlevel, otherwise keep a continous discussion with financial advisor
In other words, all the boring crap you've heard alot of times from other candidates...





Cabinet

I don't have one... tada!
My work on a cabinet will start if it's likely at all that I can win this election.

Why the hell bother?

Wouldn't a potential victory just get you impeached by congress?
Probably, especially with the current CP not being the biggest fan of me, but hell; I've gotta try!
If noone challenges the established, then nothing ever happens.
It ain't much of an election either, if you ain't got some candidates to choose from, so why not?

And as several people have complained about the «elite» ruling eNorway and others not getting any opportunity to rise politically...
Seriously, just rise up to the challenge; neither getting elected to congress nor as partypresident is hard in eNorway's current state with our low population.
Only the CP spot is fairly hard one, that is, unless you have a very known name and good reputation!

That's alot of my motivation for this election summed up in few words;
True democracy through choice, the challenging underdog and you could probably also toss in some spite for good measure! 😉





My (over)view of the other candidates:

bATRA

Former Minister in several posts and former CP.
Former fellow partymember in TeK and the one who succeseeded me as leader of TeK.
Also earlier known as a rage-quitter on IRC.
In my oppinion the most likely candidate to win this election, even though I've never seen him as a very serious player, known for weird suggestions and outbursts on the eNorwegian forums.
Fight-mode on bATRA! 😉

A very young and unknown name in eNorwegian politics, atleast to yours truly.
I wish him the best of luck; because that's about what I can say about him... 😛






Finally, any last words?

Vote for me, because I am THE OTHER WHITE MEAT, a true alternative, RAWR!
