Today is the first day in the term of our new President Irasian, and I am both humbled and proud to become a Joint Minister, along with Klynn, for Immigration (An tAire na Inimirce).
This is something I take seriously.
Immigration is both a source of new players, as well as an entrance for those that would seek to hurt us. I take it very personally, and promise you all that EVERY application, no matter how well known the applicant is, or not, will be scrutinised thoroughly and fairly.
We only get a set amount of citizenship passes, and for too long this has been neglected.. and too many times we have found ourselves without the ability to grant someone genuine their wish to move here and start afresh.
No more.
The President's faith in me will not be neglected, and neither will our borders or Citizens.
