A New Age of the MDU

Day 483, 11:50 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by MDU Press Office

Yesterday, the Movement for Democratic Unity reached another milestone. The party, founded last October, can now boast 100 members.

As the newly (re-) elected Party President, I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank every single member of the Movement for their continued support and dedication. We may be a fifth of the size of eUK's largest party, but we certainly punch well above our weight, currently possessing more Congressmen than UKRP, thanks to a successful two months under the leadership of Oexis.

Change we can believe in...!

With this new mandate, I hope to give the party a second birth. It is no secret we have somewhat slagged behind in ideas and activity recently, and we are fully aware of the popular conception we hold no policies! But change is around the corner... our brand new manifesto has been drafted and is being ratified and we are working on more new MDU proposals than ever before.

I am also honored to welcome back ex-Party President and somewhat MDU-celebrity, Tommy Tomassino. Tommy is a truly dedicated politician, and not afraid to speak his mind. If we as a party are to be taken seriously in eUK politics, we cannot afford to hold back from making contraversial statements for fear of loosing political capital, and I hope Tommy can bring this ideal back to the party.

To all MDU Members:
Our forums are coming alive again with new ideas and chatter. We would LOVE your input, help and ideas for our new manifesto, and as an incentive, I am personally offering 5 GBP for a policy idea and an additional 10 GBP if it gets included in the final draft.

Not to mention the 1 Gold for whoever offers the best new slogan for the party.

Don't be afraid to come and join us - make sure your voice is heard! Visit the forums by clicking here. Other than that, not really much more I can add - other than WATCH THIS SPACE!

The new party cabinet will be announced imminently, but should you have any questions in the meantime, do not hesitate to contact myself or any other MDU member.

Yours ever faithfully,
CV James
