A Moon Star is Born

I've got to say, I'm tired.

I don't mean to say I'm angry or irritated, I'm just tired.

Tired of the perpetual Death Matches.
Tired of the divisiveness.
Tired of pointless feuds that just drive our wary membership into the arms of USWP.

And you know, I've been thinking...

Recently, I heard someone argue that Parties should stand for something, because otherwise there's no real difference between parties. But, to be honest, it seems to me that even when I party does stand for something... it still doesn't seem any different from other parties, except for that party's style.

What's a bit ironic about this is that the person who made this argument was someone who railed against the 'elite' of the game, who as it is implied, control the conversation. I must say, I don't get this... if you're tired of the elite telling you what to think, why demand they decide what issues a party be concerned with?

I've come to the decision that this cannot be how to operate and the only function of parties is to facilitate the political function of the game for their members, to guarantee and safeguard the election process from the influences of other nations and to set an atmosphere where players can both have fun and gain in their understanding of the game.

It's the membership that decides what their party is about in what they pursue and the causes and issues they take up.

So... I've decided to do something a little bit silly.

I've no doubt I'll never be forgiven for this.

Just have fun, kids.
It's just a game, after all.
