A Look at Europe- Day 1,307

Day 1,307, 20:52 Published in Switzerland Switzerland by sgtchewy

Yesterday I was asked how I would solve the problem in Switzerland and I've been forced to come up with a response. This is a special edition because that part of it takes up a lot of space. First, so my non-Swiss readers don't have to go through it, the regular news.

Western Europe (Spain, Portugal, France, Ireland, Switzerland, Italy, United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, and Austria)

Austria is one of the countries that is always putting forth several RW every few days. Unlike most of these countries it is actually working. Every fifth or sixth resistance war they strike gold and come away with the victory. They continue to slowly expand. Right now though the two bits they own are not connected meaning even more resistance wars to come.

Belgium was beaten yesterday when the UK attacked Flanders. Now they are delving even further into Belgium by attacking Wallonia. This creates a bad place for the UK though. They now have four battles to fight at the same time, two in Belgium because a resistance war was started in Flanders diverting more resources away from their main campaign.

In a matter of an hour France will be wiped as Poland attacks Pays de la Loire. Help from their 15 allies never seemed to have come and they will go under like us. How long will it take for France to come back up? Will Poland and Hungary vacate once they touch down in USA? Questions I don't think even the Polish government knows the answer to.

Yesterday Germany finally broke through Sweden's defense with an RW. Instantly Sweden switched its Natural Enemy over from Canada to Germany.
They then assaulted the section that was taken, Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg. The result is still in question.

Another country that will likely be wiped today is Ireland. After so much back and forth fighting the UK drove into the heart of Ireland and is now commencing to take the final area, Mayo. There fighting has been in multiple directions due to the war in Belgium and the resistance war in Shannon. I cannot help but think that they will lose at least one of these battles.

Same old, same old in Italy recently, they started some more resistance wars but none of them worked and I'm afraid that Switzerland will end up like this.

The Netherlands tried once again to take Western Netherlands but yet again to no avail.

Portugal thought it was out of the woods when they signed a peace treaty with Venezuela to end their war with them but, a new attacker arose to try to take them. This time it is mexico. They traded Natural Enemy bonuses and Mexico then attacked Azores, one of Portugal's island territories. They were successful in that and will probably attack Portugal's main land by the end of today.

Spain retook Colorado after it was taken in a RW earlier in the week. They now attack Michigan which will be taken later today.

Switzerland made a resistance attack on Slovenia through Graubunden. This like all other RW was unsuccessful. This creates a big problem in Switzerland which I will address later.

*************************************************************************************************************************

Eastern Europe (Macedonia, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Serbia, Poland, and Bosnia and Herzegovina)

Bosnia and Herzegovina made an obligatory resistance attack on Serbia which failed.

Croatia put down several RW put against them from various countries but made no attack of their own.

Poland has made its first attack on the US. This attack was on New Jersey. The US really isn't putting up a fight seeing as they have gone 7-0 right now.

Macedonia has also seemed to have gone into a period of none attack, just of putting down rebellions. Where will Macedonia decide to attack next?

Serbia has suddenly decided to attack Ukraine. They launched several assaults on them, they conquered them all.

Slovakia seems to have trouble keeping Austria conquered. They stop half of them but, some of them were let through.

Slovenia's only movement was to stop Switzerland's RW.

If you aren’t a citizen of Switzerland or you don’t want to read about what believe Switzerland should do then please ignore this part.
If Macedonia approves our situation and let’s Romandie go then here is what we must do.

Step 1. We must make an MPP with Macedonia. I know this goes against every logical fiber in your being but it must be done. Having an MPP with Macedonia will do two things. One, it will make sure that we don’t suddenly get attacked by Macedonia because some pundits at the top feel like it. Two, we will have a very powerful ally in case Slovenia or some other country decides that they would like us better if we were conquered, preferably by them.

Step 2. We find every country that is in war with or may have a grudge against Slovania and make an MPP with them. Next we form the old alliances with Luna and maybe even, if political aspects allow us, EDEN.

Step 3. With MPP’s in place, we attack the remaining occupied sections not under our or our allies control. We keep most of the MPP’s in place except for a few that cause a conflict of interest with us.

If things don’t go our way and Macedonia keeps Romandie we will have to play the long game, and by long game I mean really long game.

Step 1. We recruit some heavy hitters from various other countries. This will take about a month to put together but, in the end will pay off. A representative will be sent out to various other countries to get the hitters to come. They will have to find and befriend them, get to know them well have them trust them. At a set time the representatives will ask the hitters to come to Slovenia for a period of three to four days.

Step 2. Then we must reward all the countries who sent help with MPP’s this will help us and them. We will start with the ones who helped the most and go down from there. This will give other government’s incentive to allow their power hitters come over to help us.

Step 3. See Step 3 above.

Yet again I will stress that I want to know any other news around the area and any other way out of the Swiss situation. Any response is a good one, o.k. I lied; almost any response is a good one.

Hoping that someone will find my advise useful, Sgt.Chewy
