A little analysis on each candidate

Day 1,229, 09:11 Published in South Africa South Africa by Bobady zoo

It’s been a long time since I last wrote an article on internal issues. As most know, my field is primarily foreign affairs. But in my boredom and confusion I have decided to just release an article about the upcoming presidential elections. Why you may ask. Well, for the first time in many months I am completely unsure who to vote for. Each candidate brings something different to the table, both in strengths and weaknesses; and because of this I have no idea who to vote for.

Ok let’s start off with a certain mister Krimpiekat. Krimpie and Gabe are one heck of a team, both know the game backwards, are extremely competent players who have mastered every aspect of the game. They both have loads of experience both in the military and as a CP. So you would think that they are the perfect card. I love the controversial, in your face attitude of both of them; something which for me shows their strength to say what needs to be said, and do what needs to be done for the betterment of eSA. But there is one thing which constantly is brought up in my head. They are 2 of the oldest and most accomplished players in eSA, while that is an advantage it is also a disadvantage. Often the best thing is a bit of new blood, something which can spark a country with new ideas and maybe even new hope. I do believe what this country needs is new blood, someone to surprise us and do amazing things. They are a great card, just a little too old.

Then we move onto the youngest of the lot, that is of course Rexdeus. Rex is the new blood that I am looking for, someone who is yet to prove himself but at the same time has excelled when asked to do something. He has proven himself to be competent in all aspects of the game as well; being one of the most active soldiers, politicians and financial experts. He’s hard working and is probably packed with many different ideas. He is by far the most diplomatic of the candidates, possibly the most diplomatic player in eSA. There are a few things which worry me about him. First thing is that I don’t see him as eager a candidate as the rest, slightly thrown into the deep end by pressure. He also doesn’t have the IRC activity during crucial hours compared to that of his competition. But those are things I can live with. My biggest worry is whether he is strong enough to make the big decision, something which will always get him flak from the opposing side. Would he have been able to make the decision that fhaemita made, knowing that he could be attacked for it. For me, he seems too diplomatic to make that decision, but maybe he will surprise me.

Last but not least is Shiloh. I’ve been Shiloh’s commanding officer for a while and time after time he has been the best performing Platoon head. He has worked hard; always willing to go beyond the call of duty. When given a job, he has always excelled at it. He also plays the game how it should be, as a game. He is willing to have fun, more so than his other candidates (not saying the others are stiff boards, far from that). But Shiloh has not worked extensively in cabinet, if at all and that for me does not sit well. Nor has he extensive experience in Politics with only a few terms in congress under his belt. And he is a self confessed economic idiot, which while not always critical; there will be cases where his decisions will be compromised by his lack of economic know how.

MrWet

3 strong candidates, each with their own strengths and flaws. I know there is not perfect candidate but for the first time, I have no idea who to vote for. Not because they are three poor candidates, but because they are three completely unique candidates who all offer something different. Whatever happens, I’m sure the winning candidate will do what they think is best for eSA.

Now let the attacking me and saying I am a blind fool session begin.
