A Humble Suggestion

Day 649, 15:55 Published in USA USA by Cody Franklin

Hello, America. I hope you’re doing well.

Being your humble servant, I thought that I ought to report on the state of things, and perhaps make a small request. Our government is making great strides to reclaim our territory. Currently, we’re locked in battle for California; the costs for reclaiming it will be high, but I assure you that it will be worth every cent. In every great conflict, our nation has come back better and stronger each time. Although we did not get all that we asked for, we have been given an opportunity to repay those who have protected us in the past: this is a crucial time in our history, and we cannot stand divided, or we will fall united. I beg you, America, put aside petty politics, if only for a moment. We must be able to look at the big picture here: our nation needs us, and we must answer its call.

We can all contribute in different ways; I, for example, have this newspaper. One day, I hope that this paper can be the voice of America; that our friends and our enemies can look on this and see what we stand for: I want them all to hear the bells of freedom ringing, and to know that we will fight for our liberty at all costs. You, my friends, must be a part of this fight; there are so many ways to be productive: get a good job, join the war effort, start a newspaper, donate to the needy, get active on the forums, join in on the conversation in IRC; you could even run for public office! You can even support my cause if you want; just go out and do something.

I don’t want to make this longer than it needs to be, America. I’m only asking for this one thing; it’s a simple request. Getting yourself truly involved in the game should not be difficult; there’s more here for you than two clicks per day.

I could have said this eloquently; I could have used bright, colorful, invigorating words; however, all I wish to do is inform you today. I can only hope you take my advice – your nation is depending on you. You may not accept it, and you may disagree with me, but remember: truth takes no sides.
