A House Divided Cannot Stand

The demise of a political party is happening as we speak. No, it's not the RAPE (aka AAP) party. It is the fall of one of the greatest parties in eRepublik, Federalist (RFC). In this election, there has been mudslinging, public relations problems, and even the beginning of a splinter Federalist group. How is this happening to the party? Politics, that's what's killing it.
First of all, I'd like to address the TGM switching the rankings for political gain situation. I do not believe he switched them for political gain. I have been around this game a long time, and I know that party presidents have a hell of a lot of trouble working with that. Also, I have seen statements questioning why he didn't do it earlier. I believe that he believed that he could of set the order rather quickly this morning. Now while I believe that TGM probably should of anticipated a problem, I do not believe that TGM purposely did this to rig the election. It does not make political sense for someone to do something that is perceived as unethical the day of the elections. It would be a completely stupid political maneuver. As a person who has been in e-politics as long as he has, he wouldn't make a move that would open him up to attack in the media. This "scandal" has hurt him more than his mistake hurting his opponents has.
Second of all, this senseless bickering among party leaders has to stop. Everyone has been guilty of this. We are supposed to be a party. We're supposed to be a team. Instead party leaders and mudslinging and arguing amongst themselves in the media. Does that really look good to new people? I wouldn't want to join a party where everyone is arguing amongst themselves. Stop it everyone. This election has not been an election of issues, like it should be. This has been an election of mudslinging, where the main issue was the changing of the party name.
Third of all, while I respect Rise, I do not support the forming of the other Federalist party. I don't really have too much to say about that, but we had voted as a party to use the name the Federalist Party ( which was a name that I suggested in IRC because I liked the old Federalist Party, but I digress) and then Rise (a former Federalist [RFC] member) made his own party. I'm not sure if there was a misunderstanding among leadership, or not, but the formation of another Federalist party appears to be opportunistic to me. I know that Rise had released an article mentioning the formation of one a few days ago, but I really don't know his side of the story. I would be open to an explanation of the circumstances. I would like Rise to rejoin our party because he was a very valuable member and asset to the party, but he can make his decision on what he wants to do.
Forth of all, we need to come together and support the winner of the election no matter who he is. We have not been a united party as of late, and our recruitment numbers are starting to show that. We all should put our personal opinions aside and do what's best for the party. I'm not sure what's best for the party right now, but I know that we can't advance our party if it is a divided one. Honestly, I am very disappointed in this race and how it turned out. The constant bickering has been an embarrassment to our party. Never before have I seen a party election where bickering has been the main issue. Unity (no matter who wins) is vital. We need to stick together. I know that no matter who wins, I'll be around to support that winner, and I feel like everyone else should to.
I feel like we'll be in good hands no matter who wins, but a house divided cannot stand. We are divided among who we support. This division will kill our party if we let it. Don't let our party die.
Thank you.

Politics in a political party. Who\'d have known 😕\
*cough* The AAP will be back at 3:00 AM EST 😃
Very like article btw
TGM closed the Voting on the name change, the name changed failed, if you count TGM\'s vote for Federalist then it would be a 5 for and 5 against. After that i read up on his changing of rank(somehow he seems to have fixed the issue now, as j. Steel is back to his pre vote position, hmm?) and that was it for me. The name changed failed and with TGM rigging i decided i would start my own party as i stated i would 2 days ago.
As for my rejoining we will see how the elections turn out.
Not to mention my party as stated in my eusa forum post was a ideals party, RfC never had a vote on ideal changes only on a name change, just FYI
finally, truth.
I won\'t respond to Rise. I don\'t resort to mudslinging like he.
