A Green Perspective

Day 628, 16:23 Published in USA Belgium by Kylero
The following article was written by USA Green Party member Astra Kat G and originally published in her newspaper, Shining in the Darkness. It has been reprinted here so that potential -- and current -- members can learn a little of what the USGP is all about.

With all serious business taken care of for the moment, the members (well, Kylero and I) of the USA Green Party (a.k.a. USGP, United States Green Party), sat down to consider who would be the next USGP mascot.

After my initial idea of dressing up chickens in green suits and letting them loose across the countryside was rejected, Kylero countered with his idea of making Greenman our party mascot. Note: Refresh page if images don't show up!
Greenman was poetry in his simplicity:

There was something in him for everyone: for children, there was the bright color of green; for men, there was his confidence stance; for women, there was a fortuitously placed logo right over his... ahem... lower body region.

Through subsequent interviews, we soon found that Greenman also had a passion for art of dance:

Greenman is also down-to-earth. He's just one of the guys! Here's Greenman, enjoying a cold one:

We were pleased to see that Greenman, as a mascot, knew perhaps the most important thing of all: How to point dramatically:

I invite anyone who's undecided to join me at the USA Green Party. We've got a

spiffy new website and forums, complete with Member

Pages, nature pictures, and creative Green Party videos from around the world.

See? Even the You're Awesome Puppy wants you to join!

USA Green Party pretty much stands for all the things that it does IRL, though most of can't be applied to eRep. Obviously, we're still the party for anyone who wants to see the New World and its resources preserved for future generations, even if we can't promote alternative fuels or be anti-war (Battle is, after all, a useful way to raise Experience!).

We're a friend to all working in Raw Materials industries. We think taxes should be reasonable, depending on each situation we encounter and as a more liberal party, we'd certainly like to see fewer taxes on food production and sources. We'd like to see a fair and comprehensive foreign policy. And of course, we'd like a fair election process that allows for minor parties to be included in Congressional elections.
Keep dancing, America,
