A Great Ape, A New Horizon

Day 1,048, 15:26 Published in USA USA by Myles Robinson
A Great Ape

America, in two days you will be asked to choose the chief executive of this nation. The most important position in government, he is often responsible for setting the mood of the country and resolving whatever problems facing it. Importantly, the president is tasked with planning and executing the eUS foreign policy. This month, with new MPP rules and with new countries coming online, that is even more important than ever. Though the list of candidates contains some popular, patriotic individuals with long resumes, I write today in favor of the candidate I believe would be best to lead the eUSA.

Vice President Colin Lantrip has been a mover and shaker within the country for a very long time. He has held numerous positions within presidential candidates, been successful in the realm of business, and has worked frequently with Congress. Level-headed and highly organized, Colin has what it takes to lead this nation and reinvigorate it to reach its great potential. On top of that, he has picked one of America's most skilled and experienced politicians and diplomats, Alexander Hamilton, as his running mate. The trust reposed in them is evident by the parties who chose to endorse Colin, including three of the Top 5 political parties in the United States.

That's right. Colin Lantrip and Alexander Hamilton are endorsed by the United States Workers Party, the Federalist Party, and SEES, as well as some other small parties. For those of you who are unaware of eUS political rivalries, these three parties--USWP, Feds, and SEES--rarely see eye-to-eye on political issues. But, on this issue, they are unite😛 Colin Lantrip, the Great Ape, for President of the eUnited States of America. On October 5th, I'll be voting for Colin Lantrip-- and you should too.

A New Horizon

Whilst America has been gearing itself for this presidential election, maintaing control of its conquered territories, and pushing further into Portugal, something else interesting has been happening in another corner of the globe, and I would like to tell you about it.

eNew Zealand is set to come online the day after the presidential election, October 6th. It will contain four regions, including one high grain region, and border the nations of Australia, Indonesia, and Chile. People interested in helping out with this new nation soon found each other at #eNewZealand on the Rizon IRC Server and began talking about how best to organise this new nation so that it is fun and secure. To that end, the Official eNew Zealand Forums were established in order to facilitate the creation of the new nation down under.

In the interests of presenting a united front and giving some organisation to the new nation, a Provisional Leader was elected to establish a temporary government that would help run the affairs of the nation until elections can be held. I, Myles Robinson, was chosen for this position, and immediately set to work appointing a diverse cabinet of qualified individuals to help guide this nation. Our Minister of Foreign Affairs, Azaret, is a former president of France. Our Minister of Trade, Devoid, is a former eAmerican multiple-Cabinet secret. Our Minister of Immigration, Carr de Vaux, is a former Malaysian president. The list goes on to contain other former presidents and cabinet ministers and congressmen and soldiers and media moguls.

But, most importantly, it also contains a group of younger, less-experienced players itching for a chance to prove themselves. Combined with these experienced older players, all seeking a new horizon to enhance their gameplay, eNew Zealand has already become a thriving community of individuals from eAustralia, eUK, eUSA, eCanada, eBolivia, eMalaysia, eChina, eIndonesia, eB&H, eUkraine, and so many more places. We have set about establishing a military, including a home unit and a mobile unit. We have people helping organise for congressional elections, getting the various cabinet ministries established, working on relations with other nations, and trying to plan how to build up the economy.

It's a tremendous opportunity down under. If you are interested in joining this budding community, stop by #eNewZealand on IRC and sign up on the eNZ Forums. We'd be glad to have you or talk to you. 😉

Remember, vote for Colin Lantrip/Alexander Hamilton!

Love,

~Myles Robinson~
