A Good Day and Congratulations!

Day 1,752, 07:43 Published in Japan Japan by Boukun Suzaku

First a big congratulations to Hizaya Nobunaga! A hard fought race and surprisingly few multi's turned out it seems.

In my opinion this was a huge day for us, not only did Geezus suffer a defeat he so desperately needed, but the people of eJapan stepped up and showed there was still a core of pride and intelligence in our eCountry. All of us can understand the frustration of being wiped, and the desire to remove eRoC from our lands, but the way forward is not one of mindless and incessant resistance wars we cannot win. Nor is it about gutting the nascent centralized armed forces to weaken eJapan further in a hissy fit.

The way forward will be about engaging eRoC and other nations in dialogue, working with eRoC and our allies, taking steps at a measured pace. A solid foundation for this has been laid by Greatmoff and I hope that Hizaya Nobunaga's new cabinet will build upon his work. The path forward will require patience, and cooperation among our proud and willful citizens, but we CAN get there.

We are an eNation of proud, stubborn, willful, and at times extreme personalities. We must find that common ground that unifies us in the name of eJapan! The Ministry of Culture works ceaselessly on programs to try and find and promote that common ground, but we must also be willing to bend and work with each other. Our inability to come together in a unified front has been, and continues to be, our Achilles Heel. Together we could do so much more, it is long past time for us ALL to stop only working for this party or that military unit or those cliques. Choke on your pride people of eJapan, swallow the bile, and move forward for the nation, not yourselves!
