A glimmer of hope.
Flaco Jimenez
As I was driving to my parents this weekend to check in and see how they are doing, I saw this along side the highway. Every spring we get a few weeks of different wild flowers blooming in various stages. It is more beautiful than any hand crafted carpet or grandmaster's painting in an old castle. It's alive, it's spring, and it's glorious.
I only wish I could share the smells and sounds that spring brings to my part of the world. I hope this little glimmer of hope can help you in someway to feel a tiny bit better. No matter how hard the past few weeks have been for us all, life goes on all around us.

It tends to be the small things that make us stop and take the extra moment to either breathe a collective breath or make us realise that no matter what is happening around us, nature still can take our breath away.
