A future of unity

Fellow citizens.

Those of you who have been following the national politics will already know the current state of facts, and I apologize as I am going to sum up for those who won't.

We have been for three full months under the clever and inspired guide of President Mappina. Over this time we have made huge improvements as a Country, and a smile lightens my face when I think of when AIM was founded in late April and Austria was inhabited by the Slovenians. We have built a State from dusts of governments and I think we should all unite and shout a loud «Thank you, Mappina!»

for our most loved leader is about to retire to a well-earned life of rest. Yesterday Mappina resigned from party presidence and she's not going to run for the upcoming elections.

Her reasons stand in an hostile political environment and what we might call a diffused apathy felt towards our political system. So it is with such a sad burden that I come to take her place in the Austrian International Movement lead and, I humbly hope, in having the privilege of being one of the first players to experience Version One as a Country President.

Being it a loss nevertheless, this is not the moment for grief. To be honest, as a matter of fact I want to prove Mappina wrong. I trust you, citizens. I trust you as fine and hard-working people, who always long for a better place to live in and want to enjoy their game by all means possible. I believe, I truly and firmly believe that, togheter, we will build an even better Austria, that we will make our Country an example of glory and might for all the other Nations to look at and admire.
We must keep strong and united to succed. And I'm sure we will.

It won't be easy, though, I'm not faking it. The revolution of Version One will present a challenge for all of us to face. It wouldn't be easy even without V1, as we're currently runing through a harsh perio😛 our national currency is on the brink of sustaining heavy depreciacion, our army is all but functional and foreign threats are always behind the corner.

Yet, as I said, togheter we are able to overcome these and every other difficulty. Nothing can stand in our path!
If you will put your trust in me, I swear it will be worth it.



So, to Austria and to the future! And, once again, thank you Mappina!
