A Farewell To Arms
C. Buzz
On November 12, 2009, a good friend of mine, Douglais Simmons, introduced me to this game. In 2010, he left the game making only one brief appearance. Still I continued and through hard work and determination (and a lot of spare time on my hands) I pushed on.
Around the same time I started, Doug introduced me to his brothers in arms, The Crimson Canucks, the Canadian Division of the bigger picture, TCO. It was with their help that I achieved what little greatness I had.
And look at what those past few years have been like. Twenty-six Hard-worker Awards. Forty-one Super Soldier Awards. Six Battle Heroes. Eleven True Patriots. World Class Force ***. Traveled up and down the ranks of the 2nd Legion Heavy Moose Cavalry. Proudly Captained the Moose for close to half of my elife. Helped found the first ever Crimson Order Political Party. Watched as Canada was wiped on several different occasions. Watched as the fiery warbird which is the heart and soul of eCanada itself rise from the ashes and claim what's been rightfully ours.
Yet, with all that I've achieved, there comes a time where even the most worthy of opponents and comrades alike where one must ask himself "Why am I still doing this?"
With my recent troubles and lack of interest in a game that had me interested in a matter of hours, it's with a heavy heart that I say my farewell to arms. I'm leaving eRepublik. I may return to fight once more, but for now this old guard member is hanging up his gun.
