A different option.

Day 2,079, 11:40 Published in Ireland Poland by Random Irish Guy

Alright so , I am taking a break from my Common Sense articles for now to test public opinion on another matter - colonialism. Yes , colonialism , that big,bad word that haunts Irish politics mainly due to what the British do over here but I have noticed something , I will have a look at 3 countries in particular and will give my opinion, so please stay tuned.

(i) Hungary

Hungary on the 20th of March 2012 had several provinces occupied by Romania, but began a fight back and expelled all occupiers and gradually went on the offensive before reaching its maximum extent today , which is , in my opinion, quite a turnaround.

(ii)Croatia

Croatia on the 30th of May 2012 was occupied by Serbia totally with control over Burgenland in what is now part of Austria, but Croatia today rules over its homeland with some former Serbian territory as well as some extra territory in India, totally changing its fortunes and making it an influential power.

(iii)Turkey
Turkey on July 19th 2012 had some provinces controlled by Bulgaria and spent some time fighting the invasion and was at some stage attacked by Serbia before eventually freeing itself and today controls additional territories thus giving the country access to new resources.

My Suggestion?

I strongly believe that it should be a national priority to achieve a United Ireland and once that is achieved we should look to possibly expanding elsewhere , because look at our resources , A united Ireland and any possible extra provinces could include the following.

Iron- Dublin,Wexford
Fruits- Shannon,Louth
Grain-Jeju
Fish-Northern Ireland
Cattle-Cork,Mayo
Deer-Eastern Cape
Saltpeter-Norte Grande
Aluminium-Western Cape
Oil-Westlandet
Rubber-Sarawak

I know this article may draw some hostility , but maybe this will create some healthy debates/discussions which are always interesting.

Please V+S and stay tuned for Common Sense Part III
