A congratulations to my opponent

The presidential elections of yesterday have ended, and our new president is known. His name is ArtemIvanov. With 200 votes against 154 he has won. Although I did not win, I am satisfied with the result. ArtemIvanov is a good person, a worthy opponent and he deserves a chance to prove himself. I would like to congratulate him with his victory, and I wish him the best of luck in proving himself as the best man for the job.
Also, I would like to thank my voters and everyone that supported me! Thank you guys, I really appreciate it. The Green Liberal Democrats, thank you for your support and standing by me, I hope you are not disappointed with the outcome. The LP, GVD and TOS I would like to thank you for your support!
I have one question though. Why is the first act of our independent president to join the LSD?

Kind of makes me wonder: Can a President(unlike congress) NOT be in a party without resigning?

I dint join after my election, but for the elections.
You don't have to be in top5 for presidential candidate / support 🙂
Good point Kixtart! ArtemIvanov could of run as a true independent, as he claims to be 🙂

As you can see there where more candidates running from parties that are bigger then the party where i was. When i was still running as candidate through the party 'artemivanov for president' i didnt show up at the candidates list.
I asked the pp of LSD or she could support me, but that was not possible.
